short story: I reinstalled GMAwebservice, and UAC is completely disabled. If anyone has other ideas/further advice I'd appreciate it, but I'm not sure if there's anywhere else we can go with this. Do I need to set up an account on my server with the same credentials as my desktop user account? Does GMAWebService simply not support my Windows Server 2003 server in the basement? could it be any sort of router problem?

That might help, there seems to be something wrong with the user rights. It might be worth checking the event logs on your Windows Server 2003 machine (start -> run -> eventvwr). If someone tries to access the share and is rejected, there should be logs explaining what went wrong.

i've got several problems while using ampdroid on my htc desire hd.

sometimes it works, but really often i get a "not connected" error, but just a few buttons won't work.

EPG is always displayed properly, volumne always works. But i cannot press in a direction, or "ok".

further only the remote view is working, if i try to load the view containing media (series, videos, ...), i always get a message "wrong username, password"

what can i do?

i've already done it, but there is no matching point.

if i try it by using the links from the guide, it usually works.

and the mepo logo in the lower right corner is glowing yellow.

in the guide is nothing about "wrong username/password" erros either..
