Antec Fusion v2 IR - How to use w/MediaPortal (5 Viewers)

anyone got any tips to increase the range on this? its a little bit too short for my use.

(using harmony 880. on all of my other devices i can point the remote anywhere i want in the room and it picks up the signal, not with the computer though..)

I have now set up my new HTPC, with Antec Fusion Remote Silver. Most of it works - I used newest iMon froum Soundgraph's pages, and the LCD plugin that comes with MP (is that the cybr-thing, or are there two different ones?).

I miss some functionallity though - i would like to map some buttons to skip like 10 secs immediatly for every press, and I would like to use the coloured buttons labeled 'music', 'video' etc to go straight into the corresponding modules.

just open up imon and add the keys you want through there. (look for the corresponding keyboard shortcut in mediaportal config)

Thanks! I found a plugin (think it was another one) that mapped different modules to different keys. I guess it's mutch the same as your solution.

Ive installed mediaportal yesterday and have it almost running now but ive got problems with using the remote to control mp.

Ive uninstalled the iMON and iMEDIAN programs that I installed a few weeks ago from the cd and installed the iMON 6.01.0122. I patched this with the IMONPatch.exe and I can open the iMON Manager software. In iMON Utilities I selected "run FrontView When iMON Starts" = Never and selected the MCE remote. In the MPConfig I activated the MiniDisplay plugin and in the Minidisplay config I selected SoundGraph iMON USB VFD/LCD Plugin V12_01_2008. My Harmony One is programmed as a Media Center remote.

Im not getting any response at all. The iMON manager doesnt even respond in windows when I press a button on my Harmony.

I hope that someone is able to help me.

Isn't it possible to just use latest IR Server Suite (1.0.4.2, found here), and drop the whole iMon bloatware?

no, as IR Server suite does not reckognize my iMon hardware (Antec OEM LCD).

I believe the LCD shoukd be able to be controlled by the MiniDisplay plugin - the reciever by IRSS.
