Can you get it working with MP?
Any chance to get this card supported; SweetSpot w/RGB-in? (1 Viewer)

You don't need much CPU at all. I tested MPEG2 encoding the stream from my Sweetspot SDI card and it only took 20% CPU on a 4200x2. A quick experiment with Graphedit showed approx 30% for Xvid encoding at 2mbit.

As I said previously I'm a SageTV user, don't currently have MP installed. As I understand it you should be able to get it supported by following the instructions in this thread:

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
