thanks for your quick reply drazic, I will try to do a search on mdapi then.

When I let ACamD connect to AnyCam, ACamD log responds with log entries below. Anyone had any more clues? I'm using the 2009-08-14 drivers from the anysee website.

I asked the author of ACamd about this problem and he said that you are missing camkey data in smartcard.conf.. I send you the right data in PM, because this forum is not about camkeys, but about mediaportal

installed your tool, but after starting it just sits and says "Waiting for ACamd (COM5)". Am I missing something?
Could you please explain some more?

The program is waiting for ACamd to connect to your smartcard. I am not a Mediaportal user myself, so I cannot explain you how to install ACamd in Mediaportal. But once you have installed it, you edit the ACamd.ini file:

Com5=1

So ACamd knows on which port to connect. After that, it should work.

Great you are working for a solution to getting the anysee tuners to work within mediaportal. Since floppydtv is not available anymore I also bought an anysee tuner (dvb/T/dvb/C combo)

I installed the mdapi plugin and it connects with your program just fine, but when I make a preview I only get a black screen.

Using the anycam method only gives black screens. With the exista's method, it does work, but its very unstable and MP crashes all the time. I use windows vista 32bit SP2

Ok, i stopped tryoing with the solution of anycam because this did not work in my case, maybe I did something wrong but since there is no input here I tried Exista's method and this worked like a charm!
