I switched back to RC1 because of the Anysee problems. At the time it's fixed i will upgrade.

Standby mode is also a problem. Splugg or MDAPI is crashing. After a reboot it will work again.
Another problem is Shutdown, you must shutdown twice. Because of the Anysee CNO.

Blackeyez,

I'm currently in Asia and can't open a new topic myself.
Can you open a new one? Maybe state you do use mdapi but this is not mdapi related as far as we can tell.

The log you posted i think shows the problem here in the TS reader log:

Edit: Just found posting https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ing-between-2-channels-takes-long-time-78815/ as well. Same problems, even same TV channels, different hardware (FloppyDTV). We can also refer to this as it seems to be the exact same problem and error.

Hmm...

If I get a second E30T Plus tuner, should I do anything special to make the card reader work?

I have atm one E30T Plus and I'm using the MDAPI+Splug.dll method. And it is working fine for me.

So, if I plug in another tuner with card slot, will MDAPI just create another folder for me and I just copy Splug.dll there?

Or is it possible this way?

    This is even true if its simply forum members helping each other out without asking help from the Dev team ?
    There is no other option then to use MDAPI in the Netherlands so a total ban is a bit harsh in my view.

    There are 3 options of which i've tried two.

    1. Floppy/FireDTV -> Dead manufacturer. Can't buy the product anymore nor is it supported.
    2. Hauppauge HD PVR, tried it using a Hauppauge HD PVR, Cablecompany STB, USB-UIRT, IR Server Suite. (Tried it but channel change stability and HDPVR stability is lacking, Can cause Vista and W7 to freeze, No EPG)
    3. Anysee E30TC using MDAPI+_SPLUg.dll or Anycam (Tried this as well and out of option 2 and 3 this works a lot better).

    The alternative would be people starting their own forums outside of the view of MP which I think would not be beneficial to anyone.

    That link has been posted a thousand times and is not relevant at all to this discussion.
    That posting is about having no support for mdapi and softcams due to legal issues.
    We are not asking for any support for MDAPI thus Team MP is safely covered.

    It seems now not even users are allowed to help users and that's the point i'm arguing here.

    My interpretation - do not ask and answer MDAPI questions on our forums.

    Our forum rules state the following:
    It is not allowed to post tutorials and/or link to webpages which contain applications or information about:
    * Sat-Hacking: SoftCAM, Card-Emulation, Card-Sharing, MDAPI etc.
    * CopyProtection removal: DVD's, HD-DVDs, BR-Discs, etc.
    * DRM removal

    Any violation of this rule is grounds for an immediate and maybe permanent ban, because it puts our webservers, the whole project and our web-admin at risk.

    So if one user asks a question, and another users answers it, the it can be interpreted as a tutorial.

    I can see it is frustrating for you, but we need to minimize risk. No further discussion on it please.

    Thanks for understanding :)
