The Remote Wonder 2 is NOT an X10 remote, it is a custom beast. Remote Wonder 1 and Remote Wonder Plus are the only ones that are X10 remotes. You will have to use something like EventGhost with the Remote Wonder 2 plugin to work with MediaPortal.

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
