SEDU board option like tickbox next to Mini-DMX protocol dialog perhaps?
As it needs specific contrast settings, 3.50 globally works best with WS2801 but dunno about the other PIX strips.

add the name Sedu-board instead of Mini DMX ?
if is the request : i prefer keep Mini-DMX.
but if you want Sedu as special hardware. yes, but i thin create an proper lib, because if issue with miniDMX, nothing is changed or regression for Sedu.

Meant in the configure dialog for Mini-DMX, something like an tickbox for SEDU board which sets the global contrast to 3.5 and resets it to default on untick to avoid messing the config up.

because XML and Atmowin don't have the same option.

How check your build Debug Version with the same platform Toolset
this should not be mixed..
and clean up debug build before after Change the paltform toolset
