@BassFan i noticed that when i force close MediaPortal (from Device Manager) and have the Atmolight option checked to 'Exit with MediaPortal', i'm getting a COM exception.
Is there anything we can do to improve this?

    Hey,
for some time now i have an issue where the lights of my ambilight dont turn off when they should. Im not 100% sure, but my best guess is that it started when i ran windows update the last time (including updates for .NET).
I was using old versions of AtmoWin and Atmolight from angie, but updated to these versions a few days ago. The problem still occurs however.

    Scenario 1:
    What i do:
    - Start a video
    - Start atmolight liveview (remote button)
    - Video ends

    What i expect:
    - Video starts
    - Leds go on
    - Video ends
    - Leds go off

    What really happens:
    - Video starts
    - Leds go on
    - Video ends
    - Leds stay on with the last colors

    Scenario 2:
    What i do:
    - Start a video
    - Start atmolight liveview (remote button)
    - Stop atmolight liveview (remote button)
    - Video ends

    What i expect:
    - Video starts
    - Leds go on
    - Leds go off
    - Video ends

    What really happens:
    - Video starts
    - Leds go on
    - Leds stay on with the last colors
    - Video ends
    - Leds go off

So the leds dont go off when they should. At the end of a video they stay on if liveview was enabled. And they also stay on when i use the remote key to turn them off. However they turn off, if a video ends and they allready should be off. E.g. I watch a video for 5 mins, then press remote to turn leds off. The leds stay on with the last colors. 5 mins later when the video ends, the leds go black like i wanted them to do 5 mins ago.

Attached mp and evr logs (only ones created in this time) of both scenarios.

    Using sedu board.

I think we need to fix some logging for Atmolight (if possible), because your logs don't show any errors or useful info about your problem.
I can see you disabling the Live View:
    [2014-03-06 14:59:34,188] [Log ] [28 ] [INFO ] - atmolight: Set atmoeffect to cemDisabled
    [2014-03-06 14:59:34,199] [Log ] [28 ] [INFO ] - atmolight: Set static color to RED=0 GREEN=0 BLUE=0
but no way to see if it really does that.

I'm using both checkboxes in Atmolight to start/exit AtmoWin with MP (or else i often run into COM connection errors). When i stop a video, the LEDs are also stopped, then give a short blink of about 500ms and then they're Off. That's on Win 8.1 with Arduino setup.

I'm still curious how you fixed that button, because i can't get that part to work. Profile switching isn't implemented so it seems, but being able to use the remote to toggle the LiveView would be awesome. ;)

I agree. Maybe even option to enable debug loggin in atmowin to what kind of data it gets and send out.
