Is the any there have tryed to make a HTPC with this board: Intel Desktop Board D945GCLF (atom processer)

I only need til play DVD iso, picture and music from my NAS server.:eek:

You actually going to try it? I would be very interested if you would share you exp. I'm using presently an old P4 2.0 Ghz with nVidia 6200 and it does a great job for everything I'm doing, mainly Fotos, MP3, DVD and Video reproduction including up to HD 720p and eventually an older game. I have no Idea about consumption but I think an Atom will definetly doing better. ATI 790 with small Athleon is another posibility I'm thinking about. But Atom would be my first choice temp and consumption wise.
