Logs from crashes with your Air2PC should work. It will give me a good idea it they are crashing due to the same issue. If you want to put the Vbox back in, I won't stop you though ;)

Well, I started channel surfing, and MP crashed after only three channel changes. I had changed the way I changed channels. I now tend to turn off the TV card first, then select the new channel through the EPG. That is why I wasn't having as many problems lately.

Here's logs from the incident. MP didn't make an error log this time, maybe because it crashed.

Fresh logs from last night.
Heres what was done.
Open MediaPortal (fullscreen)
Go to TV
Open Guide
Select an ATSC channel
wait a few seceonds
Change to another ATSC channel
wait a few seconds then hit previous channel.
Repeat above step until a crash (usually get around 5 channel changes)

In the past I have tried 2 720p channels and 2 1080i chaanel and it makes no difference.

Thanks

ATSC support in MP is still young. I have wasted countless weeks trying to get the 1600 working on both MP and TVServer. Some have it working on MP, others not. However it doesn't work at all under TVServer. For now I have had to switch back to MCE although I keep checking TVServer every couple of weeks to see if it's working yet.

I just bought a ATI 650. The analog side works fine. However the ATSC side is not working. When I do an autotune the signal strenghth never goes above about 25% and it never adds any new channels. I have tried it two different rooms and I get the same results. I'm using 2.2.0 SVN 14036 and ATI driver 6.14.10.232 from 4/18/07. I first thought it was just the HD antenna...but even if there is nothing connected to the ATI 650 and I do an autotune I get the same results. Can someone help me?

I see this in your Media Portal.log:

If you check the channel details, I suspect they are most likely blank. Also, the card priority is set to 10. change this to 1 and the analog to 10. Are all of the card settings correct?

You may want to delete both cards and add only the ATSC for now. The logs will only show the info for one card then. Have you tried viewing the graph it is making while channel scanning? Use GraphEdit, there may be more than one graph, so look for the one that is most complete.
