is atsc working for anyone with a dvico fusion 5? I have absolutly no luck in media portal. tvengine 3 scans and finds channels, but when I go to watch them, all I get is a blank screen... the dvico fusion software works just fine.. any thoughts?

thanks

ATSC AirStar HD5000 on Cable/QAM

I have an AirStar-HD5000 v3 ATSC card, But connected to cable QAM frequencies The DVBView application can scan and detect all the FTA channels. But TVEngine3 detects 0 when doing the scan.

Does any one know how to import the channel data generated by DVBView into TVEngine3? or make TVEngine3 be able to scan for both QAM and ATSC?? Thanks in advance for any information.

I am adding my tv.log and dvbview.ini that contains the list of channels found.

aaah well A little more searching and I would find out that apparently MP doesn't do QAM  , I am coming from MythTV trying to totally embrace MP, but but MythTV does QAM and OTA... how can I help to make this happen in MP?

I would say to start talking with the developers in IRC.

BTW - If you are sincere in helping out with development in this area - :D

I think that windows is the problem, there is no QAM support in the BDA spec, or so I'm told

but I think the HD homerun supports QAM with windows, but I'm not sure about that either
