I had to start over with a CLEAN FH database after upgrading to latest working FH version.

The error is "A file cannot be created if it already exists".

Clicking OK continues anyway and the FH config screen opens. When I then click on 'Scrape for all Artist/Album Thumb' nothing happens - there is NO log file created.[DOUBLEPOST=1391347178][/DOUBLEPOST]Closing, saving in MePo config and reopening MePo Config / Plugins /FH2 runs into the same upgrading database error again.

Did you delete : FanartHandler.db3 ?
it's strange but can be a bug in my version, but when i remove the db and goes to FH plugins from config, it seems to work and fresh one is created.

Of course I deleted it. That's why I asked to please send me a virgin database.

@HomeY : where would I get a CLEAN FH database from now? FH 2.3 should install a clean one, isn't it, but as we see an upgrade is not possible. I wonder why it wants to upgrade to 2.9 rather than 3.0 anyway.

@Sebastiii, what is the plan for the Fanart Handler plugin? While I am extremely grateful that somebody is building bridges to use such important plugins, I am extremely frustrated about the nuisance. I consider myself to be a Computer pro, but it ate almost a day of my time (and your's) to get this running. I belive that we urgently need a fully functional online version to be used with 1.6 and 1.7.

There seems to be a problem in your version. Is @cul8er going to eventually upgrade this to 1.6 / 1.7 ?

No, as said before my opinion is that working artist thumbs are scraped from the scrobbler plugin which gets it's data from last.fm while Fanart Handler is trying to scrape from htbackdrops and fanart.tv ... Why are you talking about FH 2.3 ? Actual Version is 3.1.0.0 and needs to come out of the plugin download section. It was not available through mp extension installer last time I was forced to reinstall it....

If I delete my database manually and start FH it's creating a new database....

Currently artist thumbs are collected by FH only. @jameson_uk has been working on the LastFM part, but it remains a construction zone, which might explain why no artist thumbs are collected by it. Sadly he is withdrawing from MP so this unlikely to be completed short term.

The situation is a little bit chaotic. In principle ONE plugin would be enough to scrape thumbs, info and clearart. Currently these functions are distributed among four plugins that do not cooperate.[DOUBLEPOST=1391352033][/DOUBLEPOST]@Quantor, check it out yourself. Deactivate FH, delete one artist.jpg and then play this artist in music under MP 1.6 - no artist picture wil be created.[DOUBLEPOST=1391352152][/DOUBLEPOST]And one more thing: 3.1 is NOT coming out of the download section. If you believe it is, then uninstall and reinstall.
