I have would like to have more feedback on the draft I made. The information Kenwonders gave is already in the draft. Any more that needs to be in there?
Please shoot! :D While its still easy adjustable.

Just to clarify. I've attempted to attach an image of what I see, with expert mode enabled, when I try to enable the tool.

Looks good to me! I've tried to setup the RR Changer, all seems to work fine (TV jumps nicely to 50Hz, NTSC sources jump to 60Hz). The only thing is that my current TV doesn't support 24p, which means that when i start playing an MKV movie, the RR changer says (when popup is enabled) it's set @ 24Hz, but when i check in ATI CCC, the refreshrate is set @ 60Hz.

So the first question that pops up is: What would be the best refreshrate for MKV movies since my TV doesn't support 24Hz. If 60Hz is fine, then there isn't a problem, but if 50Hz would be better, i need to change the code on the CINEMA profile OR i should use ATI CCC and create profiles.

Any suggestions? (Maybe a little offtopic)

Like said before... Indeed, check your font size in windows. Set it to normal instead of large. looks like a font issue.

I see I need to make the theory about it a little more clear.... I will update the previous post about that soon.

    edit

this is what I added in the previous post, just after the table:

    .....
    THE TRICK:
Here is where your input is required. You must specify exactly what the desired refreshrate must be with each of the given media sources.
    Example:
Your TV supports 1080p30; Program the NTSC type to 30hz. If it doesn't support that, program it to 60Hz.
Your TV support 1080p24; Program the CINEMA type to 24hz. If it doesn't support that program it to 50hz(~2x24) or any other closest match available of a multiple of 24.
So you must specify which refreshrate you want with each source type. This is dependent on the capabilities or your TV screen. TIP: Read the manual of your TV.

    .....

    >>>Would anyone like to see a table of what are the best options for typical TV sets??

got a huge problem here. everything was working fine until today.
I don't know where the problem is but when I start TV it doesn't switch to 50hz.

    I start a 24p Movie:
    9-04-14 21:49:47.351186 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.AdaptRefreshRate: framerate on file E:\Videos\Filme\HD Filme\2 Fast 2 Furious.mkv is 23,976
    2009-04-14 21:49:47.355186 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.SetRefreshRateBasedOnFPS: current refreshrate is 50hz - changing it to 24hz
2009-04-14 21:49:47.357186 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.RunExternalJob: running external job in order to change refreshrate C:\refreshrate\24hz.bat
    2009-04-14 21:49:52.999186 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.RunExternalJob: running external job completed

    everything ok.
but now I start my TV:
    2009-04-14 21:50:29.463186 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.SetRefreshRateBasedOnFPS: current refreshrate is 24hz - changing it to 24hz
2009-04-14 21:50:29.463186 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.RunExternalJob: running external job in order to change refreshrate C:\refreshrate\24hz.bat
    2009-04-14 21:50:34.779186 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.RunExternalJob: running external job completed

But it isn't 24hz it's 50!!! Now I get asynch sound...what the hell is going on?!

I normally use 12noon. Already tried with windows mode...didn't work.

BTW.: What about thoise profiles in ATI CCC. Should I create them?
Also: Does the RR changer create any stability issues???
