@Oxan is correct (of course). It is only available in the 0.6 dev version of MPE, but anyone can compile and use it. Its not polished, but it does work.

As for stable part, what is stable these days anymore. As long as it works and doesn't crash or interrupt function more then once a week/month, I call that stable already

For external scrapping, you can use XBNE, support of MyVidéo database, but not sure if all collumns are supported.
