AVI Playback problem (1 Viewer)

Hello,

i have problems with avi playback. See pictures.

I use SAF Beta 21 test 2 and MP 1.0.4.24102 with Windows XP.

GraphStudio dont shows any problems.

Can any one help me?

Hi,

i solved my problem.

I reinstalled WindowsXP, Mediaportal with the latest SVN and SAF Beta Test 2.

After that i had a picture but no sound by some avi files. GraphStudio and Gspot show no errors. Then i saw that the AVI Files without sound used the AC3 Filter. I installed the AC3 Filter from here AC3Filter | AC3Filter and now everything (Avi-Files, onlinevideos) works fine.

AC3 filter is not capable to decode TrueHD (AC3+), so it is not recomended by me.
Didnt you enable passthrought durning SAF install? This will explain you have no audio durning AC3/DTS audio playback.

Its not AC3+ just AC3.

No problem here.
Again - did you enable passthrough durning SAF install or not?
Becouse if yes, AC3/DTS audio is passthrough "as it is" to external decoding device (reciever for example). That can explain your problem.

i think not. I reinstall SAF when i ´m back at home...

Edit:

I resinatlled SAF without passtrought. I hvae sound with that option. Maybe i did it by my first installation wrong... I´m realy sorry.
