I created them equally so it should behave the same, but I'll check anyway

My mistake, not sure what went wrong but just retried it and get the same as with the earlier set, i.e. Dasv Erste is OK at current time but BBC crashes, Urlsplitter log is attached.

You saved my sanity

Small steps but getting forward: more logging added.
No need to test das erste anymore, because I believe this is going to work.

Looks the same as before, Casche stays at 0% for a while then MP crases back to desktop, only BBC tried, MPUrlsplitter log attached.

are you sure you copied the stuff from my latest zip? Log states that for MPUrlSourceSplitter_Parser_M3U8 the Build date is 2020-04-13 19:11:54 +0200...

Pretty sure yes. but tried again, exactly the same see attached screeshot showing the contents of the MPUrl... folder, the items boxed in reds are not part of your package and without them nothing happens. MPUrlss log from latest attempt attached also.

Well, you're right. at my end it also has the old date...
In the end it seems that you can't trust build dates anymore...
Anyway, based on what is in the log I did manage to find the error and fix it.
Can you test attached splitter for me? (That is, if you're not getting tired of it...)

With the latest one the cache indicator now goes up but when it stops nothing more happens, no playback, tried BBC1 &BBC2. Sreenshot and log attached.
