Hi to all and thanks for your job, I have a question.
There are any way to render all menus of MediaPortal like movie list and not only mp3d menu?
I ask this because I'm avoid to turn on/off 3d mode on TV, any time I'm browse the movie list in movinpicture for example.
    Thanks a lot.
    Peppe.
This is a very hard thing to accomplish due to the skin engine of MP1 however it's possible with MP2. I've already seen a SBS screenshot of the MP2 GUI :)
Now, 3D support isn't implemented in MP2 yet but there are much greater possibilities...

    Hi!

Started Playing around with this plugin - but no luck so far ...

Installed the Plugin and the player (version 1.8) from 3dtv.at - the player itsalef shows teh Video as expected but the plugin doesn't do anything.

Pressing "a" pop up teh Dialog enable - yes/no. Here I enable it.
Pressing A again brings up the 3d Menue - showing source monoscopig. Here I can set what I want (F9) it always shows teh same in the 3d Menue. Also using teh Arrows doesn't do anything. As I'm out of options - maybe you have an idea ...?

    It was pretty specific,
    from the docs you posted:
"The Source format as shown is Monoscopic. Press the right arrow key repeatedly until the format is changed to Side by Side, Left First. Use the Left arrow key to go back if you skipped it."
"The output format by default is Monoscopic again. Using Left/Right keys, select one of the anaglyph modes."
    up/down/left/right adjusts paralax

These keys do absolutely nothing. The directions do not work

Also, the settings in the 'configure plugin' and the menu options do nothing. The settings are always stuck as source=monoscopic, output=source. Nothing seems to change those settings.
This is with stereoscopic player v 1.8.

    The facts:

Sterescopic player 1.8 is installed and working (playing a side by side Video)
Plugin is installed on MP 1.2.2 with saf6 Codec
Pressing “3” during Video put’s in a 3 Minutes jump (with might be an issue of the skin – streamed MP)
Pressing “A” brings up the “Enable 3D” Dialog.
Pressing “A” Again displays the 3D Menue.
This is showing Current Source “Monoscopic”.
Pressing Left / Right doesn’t cycle through the source Formats (nothing is happening) – also using F9 and select it directly doesn’t change the source Format.
I would believe that as long source is Monoscopic you can’t change the output?

Also - I can't see much in the Log:

ok ... naild it down ...

You need to use in the MP Configuration -> Codecs and Renderer -> Video Codecs for
MPEG-2 Video Decoder: MPC-MPEG-2 Video Decoder
H264 Video Decoder: ffdshow Video decoder

otherwise it won't work. With the above mentioned codecs everything works fine also switching source via Left/Right

Only Think NOT working is using numbers (at least here) as these lead to a Timeline setting.

    Just to be clear.

If you use this plugin you have to disable DXVA in your codecs configuration. Since this plugin adds a post-processing filter in the chain you cannot have DXVA.

So i am pretty sure half of the people complaining that it doesn't work are using a DXVA codec.

    And now a small request:

ScRePt can you expose the Deinterlacing option of 3dtv.at Stereo Transformation filter in either the MP Configuration (imo the preferred way) or inside MP during playback?

I will try to explain why i ask for it.

Your plugin works perfectly for me in Live TV but since the streams there will be mostly interlaced we need 3dtv.at Stereo Transformation filter to send the correct interlaced/not interlaced info to the video renderer. If you use the filter within Stereoscopic Player it has 3 options Auto/On/Off and Auto is the default one. So if u play an interlaced video there it will inform EVR that the video is interlaced and EVR will do its magic:)

The problem is that if you use the filter outside the player the default value is Off :( and as a result EVR treats the video as progressive.

I hope you understand what i mean:)

If not i am glad to explain with more details.

    @pur_berger
glad to hear it now works. As for the numbers, I do not follow. Do u have 3d mode on? (the top overlay window with the mp3d logo). Did you try to exit fullscreen and re-enter?

    @Kotik
Yes, fair request, but I can only expose the flag to be on or off. I do not know how to do the "auto" thing.
Also, please provide more instructions on how to test it that it works? Do I need to find an interlace video that if rendered as progressive is noticable? I need to know that the flag is set properly.
