Waow, how do you change your background like that?

Edit: Found it! Just replace the background.png in skin/blue3/media right?
Edit2: Um, no it didn't work, how to do it?

I think you still have to empty your <insert skin name here> cache folder first.
Its in Docs&Settings\all users .... <application data> depending on XP or Vista different path here. then look for (a) mediaportal subfolder(s) and delete the folders in your cache folder.

    I replaced the background.png and Backgroundtop.png

    THATS WHERE THE CACHE IS!...

    C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\team mediaportal\cache

Before installing RC3 i had RC1 installed and the cache was in the actual program files directory.... so i had to make a copy of the blue 3 skin with my new bg and make a new folder name. good to know where that cache is.

I also made it to where when the 4:3 blue3 skin gets stretched a lil on my 16:9 screen that the background is the correct aspect ratio.... a lil photoshoping of taking the image, cropping it to a 16:9 aspect, then making distorting it to a 4:3.... thus when it gets stretched... wallla 16:9

I really cant wait for a 16:9 blue3 i love this new skin and anamations.

I made some updates to the Wiki page describing the <import> and <include> tags, including adding a couple of new xml examples. For the first example, I highlighted the example text and eventually found the location in the menus where I could select the CODE macro to have the example text formatted as a code example. So far, so good...

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason. Consequently, even though the tvguide.xml file appeared to be updated, its content kept being an...

Perhaps... Only way to confirm would be for me to invest in a different USB DVB-S2 tuner (like the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S2), which I might do if the issue persists.
