I see that every page (music, weather, etc...) has its own name on the top left corner in the language you have choosen for MediaPortal.
Except the plugin Showtime. If you put "showtime" in another language than english, this new language is correctly displayed in the home menu but not into the page itself, it always remains "showtime". Is it possible to change that?

No, unfortunately it's not possible. To make it possible, there should be an entry for every language file in the "language" folder. So, at the moment, the left top label is stuck to "ShowTimes". Many other plugins behave the same way!

Hi Tgx, just wondered if you had thought about adding a fade animation for the alternative home mod? Would be great if they backgrounds could fade in/out when scrolling through the menu although not sure if this is possible?

At the moment, the "menu" control does not provide any way to apply an animation on the hover images. So i'm afraid it's not possible!

Impressive skin! Trying it out on my test pc and I think I like it. Is there a way to edit the basichome editor to save all the files at once? I'm trying some different layouts and everytime I rearrange a button I have to save all the buttons one at a time.

I've just finished uploading to Google Code the new version of the Basichome editor.
This version automatically saves your button configuration in the file "setting.xml" (in the same folder of the editor) when you save the BasicHome XML.
It also loads the settings automatically at startup, so it keeps memory of your work.

Hallo ich habe nur das prob das wenn ich auf ein ordner gehe der ein bild ( folder) beinhaltet dieses nicht auf der rechten seite angezeigt wird wie im screen zu sehen. im unterordner funzt es aber. woran kann das bitte liegen?

p.s. mir ist auch aufgefallen das die lautstärkeanzeige bei diesem skin nicht funzt oder sie es nicht gibt. bei blue3wide gibt es sie aber.

Hello, I have only a prob when I go to a folder which a folder image () does not include this on the right side as shown in the screen is visible. funzt subfolders in it though. what the reason may lie, please?

Wish: My Videos alternative layout with DVD-Box-type thumb

Hi,

would you be so kind and make us an alternative MyVideos layout? The current one has a 4:3 TV-thumbnail frame. Some (I) would prefer a standing DVD-case type thumbnail frame (as other skins mainly do). Like in BlackGlass the myFilms or MovingPictures layout. I guess you could do it without much time investing.

Thanks, but what I meant was a button which saves all of the 24 images at once

Also, if it's not to much trouble, could you make a layout for Anime2 like the one for TV series in the extra's package? For TV series I'm using BlackGlassExtras_1.7.0\BlackGlassExtras 1.7.0\Alternative Layouts\TvSeries\Current\Full Color Fanart and since Anime2 basically has the same layout, could you include it? Cheers.

Edit: Could you host your original wallpapers you used to create your basichome menu with as well? Still looking for cool plugins, I only use 12 plugins so I need another three to fill the basichome menu.

Tgx - Fantastic skin my friend! Looks very nice.

The last version i used was 1.4, and after a reinstall of MP the default home screen has the black pop up style box. Is there a way to get the old style back (selecting the pic/buttons) without having to rebuild the home screen with the editor? I tried to read thru some posts and maybe i missed it, but I'm hoping there's an easier way.... Also the the modded home page with the menu on the right is cool. Is it possible to have the background image do a fade when you switch from videos to music etc? I was poking around in the xml trying to add a fade but i cant, i dont know xml very well....

P.S.
One other thing i noticed, when using the moving pictures plug in (tv series too), the background art seems to load at full color and then fades down. Is this normal behavior? Kind of gets annoying when scrolling thru several movies. Would be cool if it faded up from dark or black... I'll try messing with it, but i'll probably break it. Well Thanks again!
