Hi Tgx, as you are working on a new release of TV guide, here are some remarks:

- TV guide: the logos of the different channels overlap the name of the channels, I think that if you could eliminate the names and center the logos into the whole space, it will look better

- the light vertical line showing the actual time is not very well seen. Suggestion: try the same red color you are using to show that a program will be recorded (I think it will not look bad, but of course the designer is you...)

- In my configuration this line is about 15mn late regarding the first horizontal line displaying the hours

- in this guide, when I select a program, a new page is opened, (detailed program) a menu tab opens directly on the left side (not useful at this step) and if I close this menu I can see the details of the program, the problem is that the channel logo displayed is always the same, whatever is the channel, in fact I think that the logo displayed is the logo of the last channel you watched!


Last thing: take time to have fun during this end of the year, and I wish you, as well as all MP users, a wonderful new year!!

EDIT: concerning the logo of the detailed program, I am speaking about the logo that is on the LEFT side of the screen, above the detailed content oif the program, I don't speak about the list of programs on the right side (the logos are correct): it is skin dependent because it doesn't exist in blue3.

Thanks for this very nice skin.
I have just a little remark about usability in TV-Series for subtittles.

As you are already working on media logos, it will be easier to see if a subtitle is already downloaded for an episode.
When you download a subtitle in the last window (liste of subtitles), the filename is truncated on the top and it's sometime difficult to choose the good one because the interresting part to distinguish the good version is at the end.

Fanart Handler

I have 2 problems with Fanart Handler for My Music:

1. it does not work with "shares" view. If I use "artists" it woreks again. The old method (before BG 1.9) with fanarts in the skin folder worked OK. I like the shares view... Any chance fixing this? (maybe not skin but plugin related, I know).
2. the fanarts are loaded too slow for my taste (>1-2 sec) could this be changed? Is this skin or plugin related?

Since 2.0.0 (& 2.0.1) when I leave my MP on the basic home screen over night, the next morning the screen is frozen. When I press buttons on the remote I can hear the sounds in the background and even start live tv but the screen doens't update.

Reverted to 1.9.0 and I no longer have this issue. The only obvious thing that I can see thats changed on the basic home screen is the ticker now has multiple feeds. Could one of my feeds be the issue or is anyone else experiencing this freeze? is it a bug in the basic home xml?

I have no problems in 2.0.1 basichome screen. I think it's related to the feeds.
Could you please test this file on 2.0.1 version and see if it's ok? It shows data only from the default feed as it was in 1.9.0 version.

Thanks Tgx. I've put 2.0.1 back on and the basic home feeds are back to just the default thread. I'll post again in the morning and see if MP is still working. Really want to use 2.0.1 as a few things seem better and tweeked.

I noticed a small thing on my system using the original 2.0.1 the feed scroll bar seemed to be quite jerky. With only the default feed it's quite smooth. Could there be an issue with the infoservice plugin? I think there is a new version in the pipeline.
For info I have set up infoservice to use 5 feeds (BBC, the inquirer, The Sun, Telegraph and Mail Online).

1 - Yes i know. I'll try to fix it using Fanart handler plugin.
2 - I'll make them show faster.

You have to edit "common.facade.music.xml" file.
You have to add the line "<spinPosY>660</spinPosY>" in the "thumbnailpanel" section and change its value according to your tastes.
