...In MyTVSeries, fanart disappears and things seems to overlap when exiting an episode. It reappears when exiting to season view and re-entering episode list. The guest stars etc. overlaps the episode list and the episode image thumbnail disappears....

Sounds similar to the issues eetaylog reported here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/skins-50/bleazle-skin-49456/index12.html which I thought might be a screen resolution issue. Haven't heard back from him yet though...

..you seem to have a explanation for every problem I've got ;)..

haha - if you had asked me that question 3 weeks ago I wouldn't have known the answer! I'll have a look at the plugin in January, if it's straightforward I'll add logos/animations and include it in the next release :)

Dave

sorry, meant to get back to you about this, ive tried fiddling about with the screen resolutions, and it hasnt made any difference. i thought it might have something to do with the Wipeout Font files, so i re-copied those over, but still no ciger.

not sure whats going on there.

I am not sure if it is related or not... but there has been a updated version of MP-TVSeries to address fading fanart.

bigbew, I suggest trying to update to the latest SVN of MyTVSeries

Last post before I head off kiteboarding/jetskiing for two weeks tomorrow!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Hope you all had a great Christmas - we did; spit roasted ham on the BBQ, too many beers and too much food in the sun = asleep by 7pm :D

How does it look with MP 1.0? - NOTE: You don't need the Wipeout font now, it's not being used by the skin.

I've had a couple of issues with TVSeries since changing to MP 1.0 (I managed to fit it in on the 24th :D ) but I'm not sure that I've got the latest version - I'll have a look when I get back from holiday...

As per the release notes for MP 1.0 "..do not use community skins or plugins which are outdated, because this will cause problems" The issues with TVServer are probably more to do with the plugin than the skin. Using V5a of this skin shouldn't cause you any problems in MP 1.0 - I've just checked the differences between Blue3 for RC4 and Blue3 for MP 1.0 and there are almost none. I've made the changes locally so they will be included in the next release but there were only a few animation changes (plus of course the version number) so nothing major there.

Right, that's me for a few weeks.

    Catch you guys in January!!

I get a "Missing or Invalid File" error when trying to access My TV Series plugin and this skin in MP1.0.... Any pointers?

I've followed the install notes and imported the rules into the TV Series plugin config tool....

Am running MP 1.0 and this skin along with MOving PIctures and MyTvSeries and don't have this problem at all.
Any idea as to what file it says is missing?

Got delayed heading off on holiday :( so I've got a chance to make one more post :)

Hi! Is there any SVN or so available with the latest changes?

Not yet (I don't know how to do SVN releases! ) I'll upload a new version of the skin towards the end of January - I could put one up now but there is still some tidying up I want to do first - for example I've just noticed that if you list music by anything other than the shares view the CD Cover isn't there etc. I don't use these views myself too much but if other people do I'm sure they would rather the look of the skin was consistent.

I had a look at the details of your MP 1.0 release - looks good to me, especially the "recording option weekly everytime on channel X" - does that mean that if a programme runs for 5 minutes longer one week than it did the week before it will record the whole programme (I assume it does) and will it show up in the guide as being set to record AND when it does record will it be listed correctly in Recorded TV instead of just being a "Manual" recording? If the answer to all of those questions is yes it will save me having to get ForTheRecord running :D

Since you know about the "insides" of MP maybe you will know the answer to this - when videos are shown in Shares/List View currently the file size is shown - is it possible to change that to runtime (based on IMDB info) or is this "hard coded" into MP?

I'm also running Moving Pictures and TVSeries in MP 1.0 with pretty much no problems (the only problems I have is with TVSeries; when I first go into it things are overlapped but if I flick to the next screen it's fine from there on in. Plus for some reason I'm not getting any Episode images :( Only minor problems though- haven't had a chance to see if there's another version of TVSeries to try fix this).

I'd say the "Missing or Invalid File" error is because the XML files included with the skin have been overwritten. This can happen happen if you install supported plugins AFTER you install the skin. Try deleting the skin from the cache then re-installing a clean copy of the skin. Also, have you got the 15 banner version of the TVSeries XML file - if not, it's on this page https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/skins-50/bleazle-skin-49456/index12.html - you could just try pasting that into your Bleazle skin directory for starters (overwrite any existing file).

Hope that fixes it for you.
