Hi, ive just updated my version of Bleazle (i started using it when he first released it) to v.6.1.2. its looking great these days, but this thread has now become HUGE!

Can someone please tell me how to configure the skin so that it works with TV series as i dont want to have to trawl through the whole thread to find out how to do it! at the moment, ive just copied the .dll and .xml files from the blue wide skin file that comes with tv series into the bleazle folder, but this is obviously making the background blue.

ive also noticed that the text for the episode descriptions is larger than everyone elses screenshots (its the same for text in MyTV and MyVideos as well). Anyone know how i can reduce the text size?

Just use the files from Bleazle... dont copy anything from anywhere else. Delete everything you have & the cache. Then reinstall Bleazle as is & it will work with MyTVSeries!

else if you keep original file for bleaze skin you must edit tvseries.skinsetting.xml line 21

...while watching live TV pressing "my video" button (MCE remote) GUI does not switch to my videos section. My music etc works. Using blue3wide skin my video button also works. .....

Mmmm... I use the MCE remote (+ MCE keyboard/remote) and I haven't had this problem. Can you go from the LiveTV screen (not fullscreen TV) to MYVideos using the remote? If others could test this and report back that would be great...

@ eetaylog (long time, no hear!) - what Spaldo and raspoutine said is right Full details on customising the TVSeries views are included in the README file. That will sort your text size issue in TVSeries but you said it's big in MyTV and MyVideos too - got any screenshots? I can't see how text size could be different in other areas of the skin; if it says "<font>font10</font>" in the code then that's what you get no matter which part of the skin you're in (right?? ). I remember from previous screenshots that your text looked bigger than mine - what resolution are you running? All of the font sizes have been reduced compared to those used in Blue3Wide so if you compare the TVGuides for example you should see a noticeable difference...

Yep it's getting big! Unfortunately I can't do anything about that. Bleazle - Yep its been a long time mate! ive got a whole new (secret! ) HTPC project on the go at the moment, so havent really had the chance to upgrade MP, but im nearly finished now so im trying to get up to speed on your skin as i want to use it when i upgrade to MP1.0.

Well done on all the updates by the way, the skin has really come on now and looks fantastic.

Spaldo and raspoutine. thanks for the info, i had actually read the helpme file in the bleazle folder and played around with the xml files, and the series title list is now working fine, but i still cant get the series number and episode view that bluewide has (see my post above), it still looks like this:

is there a part of the xml that i need to change to get it to list the episodes and series numbers in the same layout as bluewide?

as for my text issue, yeah i think my text is definately larger than everyone elses settings, and i dont think its a resolution issue as ive tried playing around with it but still no cigar. heres what it looks like in MyVideos:

maybe if i reduce the font size to 8 or something?

Have you taken a look at the ShowTimes plugin? The guy just updated it to work for us here in NZ. I'm giving it a try and it seems to work okay just not very pretty..... Any chance you could give it the magic Bleazle treatment?

Cheers. As one of the first people to grab the first version you've seen how much the skin has changed - I hate seeing those screen shots you posted early on!! I'm still learning as I go but it's getting there - now I'm just tweaking things. I recommend grabbing the BasicHome.xml file that emphatic posted above, it looks much better than what I had done. I'll include it in the next version. Most of the changes/development are as a result of posts people have made in this thread - I've even started using some great plugins (Last.FM, TVSeries, MovingPictures etc) and found out about parts of MP I'd never used as a result of some of the posts made in this thread so it's a win-win all around I reckon.

I don't feel like hunting through the XML files just now (I'm having a beer and chilling out now that the sprogs are in bed!) but I'll post the code you need tomorrow if no one beats me to it (hopefully someone does ). Otherwise you could just use the Blue3Wide TVSeries XML files if you prefer that layout - they will work in the skin.

Yeah that's ugly (I hate big text!). If you've got a good "search and replace" programme it won't take you long to do but it looks like you'll need to change the 12 to 10 and the 10 to 8 and maybe the 11's to 9. Bit of a pain really. I'd love to know why it looks different on your system.

The screenshots on the forum thread look OK - have you tried dropping the Blue3Wide XML files into the BleazleWide directory? (I assume there are some- I guess you'd have to get rid of the blue from any graphics but that's easy).

If you really want me to I'll have a look at it, it's just not a plugin I can ever imagine using. Hopefully someone (emphatic?) has already done a skin for this that you'll like....

Dave, always good to see what's showing on the "bigger" screen than mine....

This is what one of the screens looks like. I suppose it's not too bad but the plugin is downloading fan art but not showing it.... Just think it could be a little more polished...

I am using the Blue3Wide XML file having copied it to the BleazleWide directory...
