... I dont think Bleazle will release a new version of the skin until the real 1.0.1 comes out. Because then you wont be able to use the skin right with the current stable release of Media Portal.

Mmm.... hopefully I won't have to do too many tweaks to make the skin compatible At least you've got TVSeries sorted now - btw don't you use fanart? The default series view is designed to show the maximum amount of fanart possible but it looks pretty "naked" when you don't have it enabled in series view...

no im not sure if i like it to be honest, i prefer the standard view as its in keeping with the rest of the skin. i might play around with it when ive actually upgraded MP (ive been focusing more on rebuilding the hardware side of my htpc at the moment so im still running 0.2.3.0 ).

if you want to get rid of the blue background just rename the backgroundtop.png file in MediaPortal\skin\BleazleWide\Media\TVSeries\
and you will have again the gray one back that's what I did because I like also the layout from blue3wide for the TVSeries better

Cant get fan-art to display in the tvseries plugin?

Hello,

Congrats on a very slick skin. I have one question, forgive me as I'm new to MP. I've installed the TV series plug-in and scanned my media and got the banners etc, but I can't get the skin to display the fan art. The banners and series info are displayed but there is a big blank black screen off to the left?? How do I display some nice fan art?

I haven't enabled fan art for the movies, is this why? The readme lead me to believe I didn't have too? I have to admit though I was reading it at 2 in the morning.

Any advice would be great.

Firstly, have you downloaded any fanart? - this has to be done manually. If you haven't downloaded any yet click "i" on your remote (or right click if you're using a mouse) then select "Fanart" - this will bring up the fanart downloading screen - select the fanart you want.

Are you talking about the Series view? Once you've downloaded fanart if you want to see it in the Series view click "i" on your remote, then select Options -> Enable fanart in Series view.

In the current releases they have to be downloaded... In the following release of MyTVSeries, they will be automatically downloaded and displayed when the option is on.

We will require a skin update when this release is out..

hmm I wondered when that was coming. I don't know if it's a good thing though - a lot of the fanart I see isn't worth downloading anyway - usually a whole group of people standing around in different poses with their arms folded - I only need one of those shots for any given series!
