Yeah I've heard it's pretty cold up your way at the moment - I had to pile on the suntan lotion yesterday so your raindance didn't work but I hope it warmed you up

It didn't rain but I've spent a lot of time in front of the computer screen this weekend trying to get the latest release out for you guys (who wants to get sunburnt anyway?? ) I even got up at 5am this morning to work on it (that's 5am on a Sunday! ) and you'll be please to know that it's uploading right now!!

It can take a while for uploaded files to be made live (the MP moderators are probably asleep at the moment..) so keep an eye on the MP Home page - I'll make sure the link on the first post of this thread is up to date once Version5 is made available.

OK - TV Series is now supported What a mission that was! I managed to get it working on my system and then I had to "tweak" it so that I liked it. It's based on the file released here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/my-tvseries-162/blue3-skinfiles-tv-series-46287/ One of the complaints in that thread about this TVSeries XML file is that it only lists 6 Series Banners - I tried to get it to show more but it was taking me too long to work out so I figured that could wait for another day (along with fanart support). At least I've got something else to work on...

Note: I don't like big text on my screen so I've reduced the text size in the scrolling boxes (i.e. series/episode info) - let me know what you think. Maybe I'll have to include a "short sighted persons" version of the XML file in the next release?

Other changes:

1. TV Guide colour changed - the grey version looked too bland and washed out to me. The new version is based on the Monochrome (MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - Monochrome 2.4) Guide which I think is much easier to read and goes better with this skin.

2. Support (graphics and animations) added for:
Last.FM/Audio Scrobbler (what a great plugin - I'd never used it before)
Wikipedia
Mastermind
Tetris
Sudoku

3. General tidying up - things like reducing the size of some of the logo title images (eg. Television & Music) which I decided were too big + removing the last remnants of Blue3. Note: Unsuported plugins ("My Burner" etc will still cause Mepo to jump out at you!)

That's about it. I don't plan on doing anything more on this until late January now - I've got to do some work next week (for a change ) and then I'm off on holiday for a few weeks - kitesurfing, jetskiing, mountainbiking, drinking and getting sunburnt - I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the skin looks as good on your systems as it does on mine

MP 1 RC4
NO TV Server

It's because you don't use TV Server (I do) and I forgot to include the updated XML file you need. Download the attached file and paste it into the Bleazle directory (overwrite the existing file) then wipe your cache, reload MP and it will be fine.

I'll upload V5 again today with this file included.

EDIT: @ Cressari & Cuitlahac: thanks for the votes (it lets people know the skin is worth trying out anyway) but I'm about to wipe them with this re-upload

Yeah I agree it's a bit squashed looking - I haven't had a chance to look at Moving Pictures properly yet, I'll do that after Christmas. That's the bad news - the good news is that I've just worked out how to add Fanart to TVSeries but now I've got to play around with the layout to get it to look a bit better. Will upload V5a later today...

Hey guys

The good new is that Version 5a is ready for uploading The bad news is that I've been trying to get it to upload for the last 3 hours and I keep getting this message "The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time."

I've had enough for today so I'll give it another go in the morning...

You may as well wait for 5a - there are a couple of minor tweaks - I've changed the "spin" (page up and down) arrows to those used in Monochrome because they tie in with the skin nicely plus the big news is that TVSeries now lists 12 banners and supports Fanart - check this out:

YEAH!!! I'm pretty happy with the way it's turned out - it took some work!!

Sorry I couldn't get it up for you guys today. I'll post again when it's ready to download.
