Bleazle, I am trying out the different views with MyTVSeries and just tested out ListBanners.

I am not sure if it is to do with the skin or the plugin. However, on the main plugin screen where the TVSeries are listed, it lists some in white and some in blue... I am guessing watched & unwatched. I can see the point of this in regards to episodes, however, is there any point for entire series. Is it possible to make them all white in the main screen ?

Do you get some in orange too? I'm sure it won't be too hard to change them all to white (and to be honest I don't know why they change colour - maybe you could post that question on the TVSeries thread?).

How'd you go with the fading hover images?

I only get white & blue text in the main screen... Yeah, let me know if I have to post in the TV thread and I will.

I haven't had a look at the fading images yet, I just need a bit more time cause ill have to change my music/movies one around everytime I make changes

Hopefully ill get the time tomorrow and ill let you know.

Let me know if you can fix the other tvseries thing, otherwise ill do a post in there section..

I've been here! where you been??

...Im now using your skin full time after building a new htpc (here if you fancied a look)...

I checked your setup out the other day - looks good - very tidy. I might have to pick your brains soon because I'm at the stage where I need a server too. I've got 750GB of "onboard" storage plus 1.4TB of external storage (in the form of USB HDDs) and everything is getting maxed out with movies/TV Series etc so it's time to dig a hole into the side of a mountain and build an IBM like mega server!! Unfortunately I haven't got the time to look at it at the moment because I'm having to do some work to make up for all of the money I didn't make last year because I was too busy playing around with the Bleazle skin!

...the only issue im having is the front covers in the myfilms plugin looking squashed...

They should look exactly the same as the DVD covers you see in MyVideos because I used the same X & Y dimensions. If you look at the screenshot for MyFilms in the first post of this thread does it look the same as what you're seeing? If it does (and you still think it looks squashed) maybe I need to reduce the "X" dimension a bit? Anyone else got an opinion on this?

yeah no worries, just give me a shout if you need any help with building a server. you should also check out millhouses efforts as he's done a really good job of setting up a RAID5 server.

As for the front covers, im not really sure where you mean its squashed in the first post in this thread, the images on those screenshots look fine? In mine, when you first turn MP on and browse MyFilms the covers look fine, but it seems after youve had a look at a few (actually gone into them but dont click play) the covers start behaving strangely, sometime theyll be slightly squashed vertically, and sometimes the cover will have zoomed in to one of the corners. ill try and get a screen shot tonight.

i can live with it for now though mate, keep up the good work

Cool... that would be good if they were all the same colour in the main page.

Looks like its 90% done and some of the other stuff has been pushed over to the next release.. Roadmap - MediaPortal Bugtracker

Dave, heres a screener of the cover problem im having in MyFilms...

its not always squashed in that resolution, sometimes itll be zoomed in to part of the cover, or squashed vertically. im using Bleazle_V6.1.2, i take it this is the latest version? im also using MP1.0 but without the latest SVN's (im happy with the way everything else works so i dont want to mess it up in case theres more bugs with the latest version).

like i say, i can live woth it for now so no rush to sort it out as im sure youve got plenty more on your plate with the upcoming MP1.0.1. Just a heads up .

Hi Bleazle,

Is there a possibility of changing the series wide banners view to be similar to indigo 2.6? ie. With fewer wide banners, but the top part of the screen has a clear space to reveal the fanart. Looks very polished and is my favourite view.

@ ysmp - thanks for pointing that out - @ eetaylog - yeah I had noticed that too but I didn't know that that's what you meant. I don't really use that plugin much and when I was testing that part of the skin I thought it was only one cover doing it so after spending ages trying to work out why I gave up. Good to hear it's not a skin problem though

Once MP 1.0.1 is released I'll be updating the TVSeries skin to allow for the new features available in the plugin so I'll have a look at it then.
