Your're right. I have a lack of satellite knowledge I don't need DiSEqC at all. I tuned in vertical and horizontal signals late last night. It thought it was required for this purpose.

I ended up not bothering with LNB's pointing to a different satellite and went with a dual LNB for D1, so I don't need a switch. Got channel 9 and all SBS channels including SBS HD looking good. Another aussie channel called GO! is all choppy. Does this channel not have good reception in NZ?

    I believe i"ve got a 75 or 85cm dish. It's bigger than the norm.

[EDIT] Nevermind. It's again some issue when switching channels from a freeview HD channel to a non HD channel. I need to stop first and then all is fine.

Apologies for all this traffic. Just got my first satellite dish installed earlier this week.

I was wondering if I can now use the EIT EPG from the satellite for the terrestrial channels. It's better than the XML import system as the EIT includes movie ratings etc, which the xmltv plugin doesn't support reading. I did search the forums but didn't have much luck. Do I need to use the TV Combinations to get this to work? Or is it not possible?

    Cheers.

I think it is possible but it is a little trickier that it should be. Try -->here<--.

    Issue after installing 1.2.2

    Hi All

(although this is probably aimed at our resident expert to be fair (i.e. mm1352000 :) )) I have just upgraded my Client/Server & a Client to MP 1.2.2. The Client/Server seems OK but on the client I get the error message shown in the attached screenshot when I click on "Plugins" in MP Config  I have also included the properties for the installed Gentle.Common.dll file which are different to what MP is "looking for".

Install log is attached just in case that helps. I was going to start a new thread in the 1.2.2 Bugreports section but figured this might not be a major so decided to try here first.

    Cheers

I see The Edge and George FM and some other radio stations appeared after the satellite scan, but most of these will not play. George FM does but The Edge, Tahu FM and 1 or 2 others don't play. MP shows the usual interface as if it is playing but the play time doesn't move, only the duration time, eg 0:00/0:16 (and counting).

I assume this is some sort of audio codec issue, but where?

    Cheers.

The TV codec settings are used. Check your MPEG/AC3 audio codec selection.

Bleazle: try copying the Gentle DLLs from -->here<-- into your MP *and* TV Server install folder.

I use the MPC- MPA Decoder Filter included with MP for MPEG/AC3. Does this not work with those radio stations? Perhaps MP shouldn't be distributing them in this case.

:D I copied Gentle.Common.dll & Gentle.Framework.dll into C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows - that did the job :) but I shouldn't have had to should I? Do you think I should post a bug + the bugfix in the 1.2.2 bugreports section just in case anyone else has the same issue?

    Hi Mike

Can you create a bug report on this, we have had a few upgrade issue's on 1.2.2, so the more info we get on this, the more chance we have of tracking down why it's happened for only a few people :(

    Cheers

Seems to be a problem using EPG Collector with TV3 at the moment.

Anyone else getting a 'No Listing' entry from next week?

    On mine
    TV3 Plus 1 stops Tuesday 06:30
    TV3 stops Wednesday 05:30
Four stops just before midnight Tuesday
