Seems to be a problem using EPG Collector with TV3 at the moment.

Anyone else getting a 'No Listing' entry from next week?

On mine
TV3 Plus 1 stops Tuesday 06:30
TV3 stops Wednesday 05:30
Four stops just before midnight Tuesday

Same here also buddy. I'm a bit gutted because I just changed from DVB-S to DVB-T epg yesterday hahahahaha.

**UPDATE**

I just run EPG Grabber again and it seems to be fine again now. Must have been a Canwest Mediaworks issue :)

Thought it was about time I posted in here.

If anyone is interested I have MP 1.2.1 with StreamedMP setup currently using DVB-S but also had it working with DVB-T (Auckland), all EPG data is downloaded from the carrier using EPG Collector (Have config for both DVB-T and DVB-S) and then imported to MP automatically using xmltv. I have it setup on a schedule to download daily or whenever the HTPC logs in.

I have attached all the NZ DVB-S Channel icons I made, they are in the appropriate size for all screens in StreamedMP. Did have SkyTV working on it a while back, but if your going down this path its a pain to do and you need a specific Sky decoder card.

Using an OrigenAE S10v case, the screen / remote use iMon, so if you are having any issues getting the screen / remote going with a case that uses iMon let me know and I can give you a hand.

And if you didn't work it out yea I'm a JAFA :D

    Hi an0nz,

I'm using MP 1.2.1 and StreamedMP skin also. Sounds like a few little bugs in 1.22 so will not upgrade for the moment. Have DVB-T and DVB-S2 TV cards. EPG Collector for DVB-T channels only. The built-in EPG system in MP works fine for the DVB-S channels.

Don't have sky currently, but if I do want it one day, it will be only on the priviso I can get it working in MP. If not then I would cancel it.

Are you saying that some cards from Sky won't work in a reader (with relevent software etc)? I realize this topic is frowned upon.

    R.

I had a bit of trouble getting a full 8 day guide using the default EPG grabber in MP, it only ever pulled the next 24 hours, so I switched to EPG Collector which I had already made work for DVB-T and just tweaked the config a bit to solve the issue. Was quicker than trying to sort out why MP only got part of the config.

Are you running 2 cards? I just ordered in a BlackGold card from the UK, does 2x DVB-S/S2, 2x DVB-T/T2 and analogue all in a small form factor :) costs a bit though.

Yea the MDAPI thing is a bit frowned upon so cannot be discussed here, for NZ based setups check out GeekZone, many people there have got it working. Last time I did it you needed a card that started with a serial number 45XX, they were generally blue. The issue is not the reader, its the SoftCAM you use, so this may or may not have been resolved as some guys over at GeekZone I believe were working with the Dev to fix it.

For the last 3 years or so I've had just a Hauppauge HVR-2200 with dual DVB-T. But occasionally the family wanted to record something on TVNZ, TV3/4 and Kordia muxes at the same time and decided to purchase another card with DVB-T. I decided to future proof myself and get satellite as well. The Blackgold BTG3600 just came out so purchased that. I think that's what you must have also.

I'n getting all the DVB-S EPG here no problem for 8 days. Still have NINE Digital, Go! and Gem EPG showing up but no signal for several days :)

My card is basically the same, just doesnt have the DVB-C, I got it in march, I am guessing the product you have is the 1 that superseeds mine :)
From my previous experiences with the likes of Hauppauge etc I wouldnt go back. The BlackGold tuners are just incredibly feature packed in very small cards and I'm yet to see anything else on the market offer so many tuners in a low profile card.

I have never had the NINE Digital or any of those come up only a pile of SBS channels which all have identical programming lol.
Hmm if your getting the full guide maybe I will have to take another look at it. Although I am moving house soon and the new place only has DVB-T and I see little point in putting a dish up unless I get sky, so I may just leave it as is and adjust the settings back to DVB-T at the time.

I've just recently got a DVB-S2 card specifically to get Nine Digital, Go, & Gem. It worked well for about a week (yes one week!) but for another reason I've had to do a full system rebuild. Now I can't tune any of the S2 channels the same as rlevis above. Is everyone having these issues with DVB-S2 channels? Does anyone know if this is a permanent change? SBS and other DVB-S channels seem fine still. I tune in SBS-HD (same as SBS One) and SBS 2 as these two do have different content.

(PS I've come to despise Windows 7 during the multiple rebuilds over the last week, it just seems so fragile compared to good old XP)

I had a satellite dish installed just before Christmas and managed to watch the cricket on NINE Digital for about 3 days and then all 3 channels disappeared. It looks like they are not coming back. It was a temporary arrangement that ended up over 12 months I believe, due to capacity on a Oz only beam. Just our luck it happened just after we tuned them in.

Note that SBS HD is DVB-S2 and they are still using the wider NZ/Oz beam.

It's a bugger as I was going to have 2 LNB's with one pointing to a different satellite for some extra channels, but was talked into going for a dual LNB to D1 because of the Aussie stations.

    Hi folks

Yes, the reports on Geekzone are that the Nine network feeds are down.

Note that SBS HD is DVB-S2 and they are still using the wider NZ/Oz beam.
The SBS transponder is a plain DVB-S transponder.
