I discovered that the old channel list was created on May 18, that's the week when all channels of my provider were fta because problems with seca3. I think that's the reason for "freetoair = true".

"Jim" is an encrypted channel ---> freetoair detection from rc4 and rc5 is right.

    Hi,

So with RC5, all channels are correctly recognised as fta or encrypted? But still the cam limit is broken?

What happens if you take your not working RC5 scan export, and replace the FreeToAir="False" with FreeToAir="True" ? Does the CAM limit work okay then? I don't really know anything about the CAM, but I guess making this change will cause problems.

If RC4 works okay but RC5 does not, can you import the RC5 channels into RC4 and test? This will exclude problems with scanning in RC5.

Thanks for your help with this. I am sure that with good testing and bug reporting we can get this fixed quite quickly.

    I cannot test that now.

No problem. Just when you have time. Unfortunately with a relatively small development team, we cannot reproduce all problems with the hardware we have, which is why we do have to rely heavily on community testing.

Of course the other people who reported this problem could also help with the same testing.

    Best wishes,

    Hi,
Hmmm, did a fast test here & seems like something is not calculated when stream is running, so:

    1. if I rec on channel 1 on mux 1, I can start watching channel 2 on mux 1 with the card that can decrypt 3 channels at same time.

    2. if I watch & hit rec current show & open mini guide to switch to another channel on mux 1, I can't select other scrambled but are allowed to watch a fta(which mees something is not calculated correct, since i decrypt 3), but if I stop watching(hit stop on remote) & then open mini guide I'm allowed to start to watch another scrambled one & if I then start to rec this & stop watching & open mini guide I can actually start another one on same mux & it's then decrypting 3 channels, so it's def something weird for our developer gibman to look for if none else jumps in ;)

    Regards

Well if it is not in your logs, then please post them to show what they do tell us.

And if i am correct mini epg uses something like a cache, please also try the full epg or manual zapping.

    Hi,
Nope, channel change when recording is not possible even if you can decryot several channels when using only 1 tuner, so yes maybe it is on "client" side the bug is.

Logs yeah, not much fun in them at all :p

    Regards
