Changing Filmstrip on one skin to look like another (1 Viewer)

What I would like to learn how to do is alter my PMIII skin's Filmstrip view to look like Xface's filmstrip view.
How would I begin to do something like this?

try to change the xml files. it should be myvideos.xml or something like that. maybe this works dunno.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...

MP1 MP2 1.37 Running Mediaportal in a Linux distro......say Zorin OS...? DE

I am running a Xubuntu machine as a server with all my movies and series on it, I run a VirtualBox VM with Windows 10 installed on the virtual machine and MP1 client installed on that.
