You're right about that. I was just trying to help providing a little bit more information. The one and only intention for me was helping you guys...

    gemx: Any progress on this?

I am asking because you stated that you are working on this but the mantis bug #1038 is still not assigned to anybody.

Please let me know, if I can support you with some tests. The bug is quite reproducible on my end.

I really hope that you fill find a solution because this is really one of the biggest bugs for me right now.

Thanks a lot and best regards,

    Andreas

MPUserFromGER, sorry i'm not gemx, infinityloop just wrote 2 days ago developers are already working on this, let me add that we, the testers, are already TESTING the fix at the moment, and this fix looks promising even though some other small issues came out, so again a solution is on the way, but still not deliverable to general audience as it's NOT stable.

and YES again somebody (gemx) is doing an excellent job on this even if mantis hasn't been updated, please just be patient.

    :D

    Hope is on its way:

    Code:
25/06/2007 [13:07h] gemx added: Hopefully fixed "random skipping backwards in buffer" issues with tsfilesource filter during TimeShifting

    Will test svn version asap.

    Cool, :D

Would be nice if others could do some tests too.

I will do the test as well.

By the way are you still have the "context menu" problem with my worldmap plugin (answer in the worlmap thread to avoid getting offtopic ;))

All I can say from my first brief testing is: awesome work!

It seems to be pretty reliable now. I was only able to see the the bug one time, during wild switching between H.264 and Pal channels.

What I experienced was that H.264 channel some times show a black screen (with sound) when I change between H.264 and H.264. Using cursor left (15 sec back) and cursor right (back to the original position) fixed this. Not sure if this is somehow related.

    :D

EDIT: I have above mentioned problem even this PAL channels. The channel are black or get stuck (freeze). It looks like the Streamplayer is a little bit to near to the edge and sometimes the required data comes to late. Jumping 15 sec back seems to avoid this problem.
Maybe this is relate to the recent "channel change" speed ups.

    Bye

So normal (non H.264) channels are fine?

Hi gemx , in my case no h264 channels, more than an hour zapping and no bug.
I've got three dvb-t tunners (one is dual tunner nova-t 500) and one dvb-s.

    Thank you very much :)

    Dareh.
