Hello,
is there any way to clear the whole Database of Moving Pictures. I want to start over and a fresh and clean Database would be wonderful.

Thanks
Dennis

    The database is simply a single file on your computer, so all you do is delete the following file:

    Code:
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database\movingpictures.db3

    Now re-launch configuration and everything will be defaults.

    AW: Clear Moving Pictures Database

    Thanks, that works finde

    //working now
    i've got another problem: I added my Movie Folder to the Media Source List. Now MP is scanning the folger and hanging at the same file all the time, showing: "Retrieving possible matches: A.Beautiful.Mind.(2001).mkv"

    what can i do about that?

    somehow its working now, but i've got another question. I set the language at the Importer Settings Tab to "english" but when scanning the Folder the Titles are converted into the German titles so i have ti manually reame them to be the english wants.. What ca i do about that?

    Thanks alot

    Most likely it was stuck at another file and that was just the last thing you saw.

    That means you are located in Germany and are trying to get the titles via the default imdb.com scraper. The imdb.com website in their sheer genius then decide that you must prefer the german titles they have, so they provide those to your MovingPictures import session.

    The only way to get around that is by using the IMDb+ scraper, which you can find in my signature.

    Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

    Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...
