Can't find a way to close the tray, only eject it. Found a exe-file that could work, but don't know how to run it with one single touch with my mce remote.

MCE Replacement plugin lets you launch executables from your MCE remote (amongst other things).

    Cheers,

I use the EXE mapped to the red teletext button on my MCE remote. It works great!
(I say that 'tongue in cheek' as I wrote the EXE, haha)

It does do the job though. Funnilly enough, I have noticed that sometimes if MP is not responding, opening and closing the CD tray with the EXE, brings MP back to life!?
    Odd eh?

    cheers,

    Hi,

I would like to be able to open/close the dvd tray with my remote. I have downloaded the 'CD/DVD Opener & Closer' utility + the 'MCE Replacement Plugin'. The utility works from withing the MCE replacement plugin as a macro but I cannot find a way to map this 'command' or macro to a button.

    Can anyone help me please?
    :D

I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC. TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1
