I just tested with my win7 x64, southpark works.
It's done via local proxy. And needs port 1935 open. Try to disable your firewall. Also POST LOGS IF YOU WANT HELP.

I think that is the problem...

Nah. It all worked during my last windows install on just a popular codec pack.I have no clue why it isn't working now on this install.

It is deinitely not a codecs issue, try different drivers version.

Did you try disabling your firewall? (Or/And open port 1935 on your router)

no firewall, and the port should be open, i can use the page from the htpc out of firefox without any problem.

Firefox (and thereby the Adobe Flash Player) will use port 80 if 1935 is not open. working playback in the browser does not mean that it works in MediaPortal.

Can you play other sites that have mp4 streams? YouTube in High Quality setting? TED?
