    Hi guys,
i always used Haali for MP4 and never had issues, but my system have only a few codecs installed (MPC Video Decoder,PDVD decoder (mpeg2 only),MPC Audio Decoder) so less hasle or no hasle at all.OnlineVideos plugin is working,My Trailers is working,MovPics is working so guys maybe is time to do a cleanup of your system.:D
Avoid installing Nero codecs on your system cause is really a show stopper,in most cases you don't need QuickTime stuff if you are using Haali and u have a decoder that supports Mpeg4 decoding (in my case Haali with MPC Video Decoder is great for Apple trailers).
At last if you start playing with merits but you don't know what you are doing, well in this case your media playback is doomed :D

Finaly! I get MP4 streams working using my SAF package :)
Need more testing, but it seems to be working:
What happened!?! Is it something you have to change in Haali configuration? Something you found in the files I posted? What...? ;)

Honestly - not. Most helpfull was your graph. It have nothing to do with haali or decoders setting.

OK, what was the secret Hoborg???

Wizards newer speak about they secrets :)

    First try:
    http://hobring.esero.net/saf/binary/saf349beta7.exe

MOV,FVL and MP4 streams should be supported.
You need to be loged as administrator!
If not loged as admin, you will get cannot play error.
Try to run MP as administrator (right click on MP icon) too - no idea why it doesnot working if you are not admin...

    UPDATE:
http://hobring.esero.net/saf/binary/saf349beta8.exe - now WMV streams works too!

When trying to play: http://www.nasa.gov/mp4/353193main_TWAN_05_29_09.mp4 with Graphstudio, its gives an error right away when trying to render Url. The error comes from haali and all it says is it can't open file.
Using the MP4 Splitter from MPC-HC it works. What did you do to make it work with haali?

I spend ~5hours to found how it suppose to work, found problems and found solution.
But now it seems to be working corectly:

MOV/FLV/MP4 graph: (NASA MP4 on screenshot, DXVA ON if available)
    snap6.png

WMV graph: (DXVA ON if available)
    snap7.png

BTW: It is not Haali problem or decoder problems, it is much, much complicated...

Ok after installing your beta8 it works now!

Only thing I need to change is audio decoder to use ffdshow, because the one from MPC has troubles when sending output to spdif.

One small question, my graphstudio does nothing when I try to connect to remote graph, it shows the selection but after double clicking nothing happens. IS thgere is special version? (I have Vista x86)

Great to hear it is working for you :)

No problem to use differend audio decoder, but watch out for double decoding.
Check SAF title page for info about double decoding and graphstudio not working under Vista.

0.9.0 uses the internal player only for mp4. The older version did try external as well, maybe you had some external players that played mp4? MP4 DO work in 0.9.0, if you have your codecs setup right. (As describes in SAF thread).
