When I try to Preview a channel it indicate NO PMT AVAILABLE, yet I have mapped the channels to the card.

    Any ideas? Thanks, Dave

As I already said to you... ;)

    2. I reckon you've configured your channels to use the wrong Colossus inputs:
    Controller: channel #1 tv:15 WBRADT Freq:0 Channel:15 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:confused:vhsInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1

From previous log files that you posted:
    [2013-09-22 09:43:24,295] [Log ] [19 ] [INFO ] - Controller: channel #1 tv:5 WWCWDT Freq:0 Channel:5 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:HdmiInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1

So you need to fix your SchedulesDirect video input setting and then reimport channels.

mm, OK, I changed the inputs to HDMI1 and SPDIFInput1.

I have then done what I thought would be unmapping and then re-mapping the channels to the card MANY times still producing the same result.

Also, on the SchedulesDirect 'Advanced' tab there is text that appears when hovering over the pull-down for Video Input that says "Only use for external tuners when adding channels automatically"

Is the Colossus internal or external? I would have said internal as it is inside my computer box. If so, that pull down does NOT apply.

When are channels added 'automatically'? When I map the channels to the card is that automatic or manual as I had to instruct it to do so.

Also, when clicking for help on the 'advanced' tab I get a blank page in the wiki which is not very useful

Anyway, after another two hours of trying everything in site, how do I change the channels to use the correct input?

Thank you, Dave[DOUBLEPOST=1381458324][/DOUBLEPOST]mm, I have also stopped and started the TV Service many, many times after changing the input settings with no results.

    Thanks again, Dave

    Unmapping and remapping here...
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...Server_Configuration/03_TV_Channels/2_Mapping
...will make absolutely zero difference for you.
Unmapping tells TV Server that it cannot use your Colossus to receive the channels... and then re-mapping tells TV Server it can use your Colossus to receive the channels.

Your Colossus is internal in the sense that it is inside your computer box... but it is not a tuner. So, when you read the text "...only use for external tuners..." think: what is actually doing the tuning? The correct answer is: the set-top-box that you've connected to your Colossus. Is that set-top-box inside or outside your PC? Outside of course. Therefore you are using an external tuner and you need to configure those settings.

    When are channels added 'automatically'?
I haven't got a clue. Again, remember that I've never used SchedulesDirect. Presumably you're telling SchedulesDirect to do it somehow.

When I map the channels to the card is that automatic or manual as I had to instruct it to do so.
It is manual for you because the SchedulesDirect plugin doesn't do it automatically.
If you were scanning with an internal tuner then TV Server would automatically do the mapping.

Also, when clicking for help on the 'advanced' tab I get a blank page in the wiki which is not very useful
I assume you're talking about the SchedulesDirect plugin wiki here?

Anyway, after another two hours of trying everything in site, how do I change the channels to use the correct input?
As above: you are using an external tuner, so set the video and audio input fields.
After that you need to re-import the channels. If I had to guess how to do that, I'd say it would be by ticking the "force guide update on next..." option on the "advanced" tab in the SchedulesDirect plugin, and then restarting the TV service (you know how to do this, right?).
After that, make sure that the newly created channels are mapped... and then verify that they have the correct input settings... and then try to tune.

I must have done what you describe in your last paragraph about a hundred times but still when I turn the TV ON in MP I get no available card. This is driving me crazy! Can I backtrack to some point and start yet again?

Thanks, Dave[DOUBLEPOST=1381460539][/DOUBLEPOST]Here is the latest log in case it helps. Dave

Here is the latest log in case it helps.
Logs are always good, thanks. :)

Indeed it looks like TV Server is saying your channel is not mapped:
    2013-10-10 23:00:22,701] [Log ] [5 ] [INFO ] - Controller: find free card for channel CVBS#1 on 3
    [2013-10-10 23:00:22,701] [Log ] [5 ] [INFO ] - Controller: find card for channel CVBS#1 on 3
    [2013-10-10 23:00:22,704] [Log ] [5 ] [INFO ] - Controller: got 1 tuning details for CVBS#1 on 3
    [2013-10-10 23:00:22,716] [Log ] [5 ] [INFO ] - Controller: channel #1 tv:CVBS#1 on 3 Freq:0 Channel:4 Country:The Netherlands Tuner:Cable Video:VideoInput1 Audio:Automatic
    [2013-10-10 23:00:22,717] [Log ] [5 ] [INFO ] - Controller: card:1 type:RadioWebStream is disabled
    [2013-10-10 23:00:22,719] [Log ] [5 ] [INFO ] - Controller: card:3 type:Analog channel not mapped

...BUT why on earth are you trying CVBS#1?

The last real tune attempt I see is this one:
    [2013-10-10 21:51:21,287] [Log ] [17 ] [INFO ] - HDPVR: Tune:-1, tv:5 WWCW Freq:0 Channel:5 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:confused:vhsInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1

...and based on that, you still haven't successfully fixed your channel details. Still using S-video. There's no way that will work unless you actually had an S-video input connected.

mm, I disabled the Colossus and deleted it from the TV Server then enabled and started from there. It recognized the card as if it were a new card and seems to be working properly with one exception that I hope this log will be able to sort out. It does not record. It indicated with a color on the EPG that it is set to record but it does not actually record or indicate that it is recording.

Anything that might help would be welcome, Dave

I take that back it is not recording, I believe, because it still does not recognize Colossus although the EPG is complete in MP.

I am drawing a blank, it seems that I have tried everything.

Thanks for your advice on this, Dave

Some of your channels are now configured correctly. For example:
    channel #1 tv:1 INFO001 Freq:0 Channel:1 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:HdmiInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1

However the channel you're trying to record with is STILL not:
    HDPVR: Tune:-1, tv:10 WSLSDT Freq:0 Channel:10 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:SvhsInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1

...and now you've also got this going on:
    [2013-10-11 17:04:22,308] [Log ] [scheduler thread] [DEBUG] - DirecTV_SHEF - DirecTV_SHEF_OnTvServerEvent(): Changing Channel - Card Id = 4, Channel = 10 (10 WSLSDT), Video Source: SvhsInput1
[2013-10-11 17:04:22,309] [Log ] [scheduler thread] [ERROR] - DirecTV_SHEF - DirecTV_SHEF_OnTvServerEvent(): INFO: attempt to send command to unmapped receiver; command send not attempted

So it looks to me like whatever you did is making the problem worse.
The problems that you're having are with plugins that I have no experience with. Aside from them TV Server seems to be functioning perfectly. I'm sorry but I'm not able to help with the plugins.

mm, Apparently here is the issue. I just went in to check the EPG inputs and they are set at VIDEO HDMI1 and AUDIO AUTOMATIC. Yet the log is showing what you see. How can this be? It is not a plug-in issue at this point surely! Ideas? Thanks, Dave[DOUBLEPOST=1381536877][/DOUBLEPOST]mm, Also, the first time I went in to MP today I TURNED TV ON and it came up immediately. It has not done that since the first time.

If by EPG inputs you mean the settings in the SchedulesDirect plugin...
Changing the settings in the SchedulesDirect plugin does not change anything until you reimport the channels.
That is why I've said over and over again: you need to reimport your channels with the correct settings.

I suggest you delete all your channels so that you can tell whether the SchedulesDirect plugin has actually reimported them or not.
