mm I have check all my audio setting within MP and on my audio receiver and still have no sound. All else is working fine it seems. Does the attached log tell you anything?

It is curious that WinTV HAS sound but MP does not. I am using HDMI.

Many thanks for any advice on this, Dave

While the settings in MP matter, you must also check the Windows mixer. In the Vista, W7 and W8 mixer, each application has its own volume level. If the volume level for MP is set to 0 and the volume level for WinTV is not 0 then that would explain why you'd hear sound for one and not the other.

OK, Did a search on MIXER and Windows Mixer, not finding where these settings are made. Can you help?

    Sorry, Dave

mm, Thanks for the volume setting details, I was not aware of this setting after four days of trying to figure this out.

Had my hard drive crash, got a new drive installed MP 1.5 on it and cannot get the TV server to read the channels from SchedulesDirect. I seem to have everything in place and have tried multiple combinations but they never show when I SCAN FOR CHANNELS.

Logs are attached in case they help. Sorry about this. Thanks again, Dave

    Had my hard drive crash...
Is it just me or do you seem to have one problem after another?!? :(

...got a new drive installed MP 1.5 on it and cannot get the TV server to read the channels from SchedulesDirect. I seem to have everything in place and have tried multiple combinations but they never show when I SCAN FOR CHANNELS.
As I've explained earlier, I have no idea when it comes to SchedulesDirect.
I do know that you don't scan for channels with a Colossus... so I have no idea what you're attempting to do but it doesn't sound right.

Logs are attached in case they help.
It sure looks like SchedulesDirect has added a bunch of channels.
    [2013-10-10 16:46:49,891] [Log ] [SchedulesDirect EPG Client] [INFO ] - Sucessfully processed 1004 of 937 channels

I can even see you attempting to tune WBRADT... which is not successful for several reasons:
    1. You haven't linked the channels to your Colossus:
    [2013-10-10 17:18:12,457] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - Controller: find card for channel 15 WBRADT
    [2013-10-10 17:18:12,474] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - Controller: got 1 tuning details for 15 WBRADT
    [2013-10-10 17:18:12,475] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - Controller: channel #1 tv:15 WBRADT Freq:0 Channel:15 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:confused:vhsInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1
    [2013-10-10 17:18:12,477] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - Controller: card:1 type:RadioWebStream is disabled
    [2013-10-10 17:18:12,478] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - Controller: card:2 type:DvbIP is disabled
    [2013-10-10 17:18:12,618] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - Controller: card:3 type:Analog channel not mapped

    To fix this:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...Server_Configuration/03_TV_Channels/2_Mapping

    2. I reckon you've configured your channels to use the wrong Colossus inputs:
    Controller: channel #1 tv:15 WBRADT Freq:0 Channel:15 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:confused:vhsInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1

From previous log files that you posted:
    [2013-09-22 09:43:24,295] [Log ] [19 ] [INFO ] - Controller: channel #1 tv:5 WWCWDT Freq:0 Channel:5 Country:United States Tuner:Cable Video:HdmiInput1 Audio:confused:PDIFInput1

So you need to fix your SchedulesDirect video input setting and then reimport channels.

mm, Just after I sent that previous note I realized that the channels were being read and I mapped them to the card.

Now, with my previous C drive I had recorded programs to a folder on my D drive which is the same now just with a new C drive (containing MP as before).

In MP when I look at RECORDED TV there is nothing listed even though I set the Time Shifing folder the same as before. Can I view my older recordings with this new C drive?

    Thanks, Dave

mm, I am almost there! MP is not recognizing my Colossus card with NO FREE CARD and therefore will not record.

    Log attached. Many thanks

When I try to Preview a channel it indicate NO PMT AVAILABLE, yet I have mapped the channels to the card.

    Any ideas? Thanks, Dave
