    Hehe :p

It looks alright for some scenes however I don't like the idea of projecting the movie blurred as it might just distract too much, not sure if I like AmbiLux yet and would need to see some real demo's with more content :)

Did do some cost calculations with a friend for that setup and it's at least 8x mini-DLP @ around 40 USD a piece on chinese stores so it isn't as cheap as LED, unless they are using 1 with a mirror but not sure about how do they do it internally yet.
DLP has a mayor drawback for some people though and that is the flickering due to the nature of that technique (LED wheel), it's sorta like active 3D.

Driving it would be straightforward as it takes image input however hardware wise not sure how one would connect everything so that they are in sync, might take a bit more processing power to drive multiple projectors as well.
Here's hoping somebody takes it apart once they release AmbiLux TV's :D

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

Hi CyberSimian (and others) just a bit along the coast from me (near Exeter) - I know you are very long-standing! Not going to make this long winded or anything, but just to point out over the @15 years I've overall donated several hundred quid. And I begrduge NONE of it, not a penny - I do wish MP well - 100%. It is an awesome...

I regret to say that MP no longer has an expert in EPG transmission formats, so unless the change is trivial, this may not be fixed for some considerable time. One workaround would be to use "Schedules Direct". It is a paid service (around 30 US dollars per year), and they do provide EPG info for New Zealand. Schedules Direct...

I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC. TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.
