    Hard to tell without logs...
I wasn't going to post logs untill I know if I have a bug or not. But from what I can tell TVSeries is updating and refreshing the displayed info. But the problem is I can't stop it and pretty much takes over TVSeries so I can't do anything, even causes pausing during play back. Is meant to work this way, its a new install so will it stop after its finished updating? Shouldn't take days to update a few series I would have thought. So unless I know how it's meant to work I don't know if its a problem.

I hope you're joking. Post logs if you need help, you most likely have a corrupt database but who knows.

I can't get logs right now (Have to close mp and family watching tv and got downloads going)
But it does update all details, While updating it cycles though the series selecting I guess the one its updating. Possible cause could be its updating downloading files?

For some reason, its detecting that Homeland Season 1 Episode 11 & Episode 12 are changed/added and is running an import over and over again

    - this is why you have to provide logs.

its pretty weird, why dont u try for now taking those 2 files out of C:\Users\Media\Videos\Watch-Series\ and see if the problem stops

Is something outside of MP accessing those files? maybe a torrent app or similar?

No nothing is accessing them, but they might have been downloading still, hence TVSeries thinks they are changing..

dont add a download dir to your tvseries import path, download the files to a tempoary folder and when they have completed download, move them to a completed folder watched by. Most download apps have this feature.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

Sorry, I didn't get email notifications on these latest replies. I just came here to report I solved the problem after adjusting power settings for "Intel Graphics". I set it to Maximum Performance. I tried many other things so it could be a combination of them, but this was the last thing I did and I haven't had the problem return...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...
