Here you go

I did as you said. I did not notice any difference in how the remote operates with these checked.

Hi all,
i'm italian
sorry for my bad english :)

I have two questions

1. Can you see the number of songs when listening to an audio CD?
2. Can you see the chapter number when watching a DVD?

thank you

You can configure it to show whatever you want, as long as the information is exposed by a MediaPortal component.
Ok,
But what is the command that I write to see chapters and the number of songs?
thank you

    Hi Cybrmage,

I've run the test program. I cannot seem to get the remote (IMON PAD) out of mouse mode with the toggle button. Consequently, a number of the keys (ESC, Enter etc) did not produce a response.

Open up Notepad. Do these keys still work in Notepad. I too have no change in the Mouse Stick state. However, the Esc, Backspace, Windows menu, Context, Enter, Right Mouse Click, Left Mouse Click and Space all still work in Notepad they are just not recognized by the HID test. Is this what you find too?

This is expected behaviour!!! the "iMon HID Receiver Test 1.zip" is NOT a driver!!! It is a TEST to determine the correct way to communicate with the IR hardware!!

Once I have determined how the communications with the device works, then the test program can be made into a driver....

On that note... another test program.... same instructions as before...

    Tide:

Yes I observe exactly the same as you. All the keys around the pad and the numeric keys (eg ESC, backspace, space, 1-9 etc) produce a result in Notepad, but do not report in the HID Test program. IMON is not running.

I think all the other keys like play, stop, ff, rw, my keys etc all seem to produce a result in HID Test.

Also, as you observed, the mouse stick keypress results in codes being generated in the HID test, but does not change the state of the pad from mouse to keypad. ie the mouse pointer just keeps moving and it does not change to up, down, left, right cursor movement.

    Hi Cybrmage,

Tried the V2 test program. Log attached. The program is now generating output for every key pressed, including when the pad is touched. I pressed keys in the following order (ie basically top to bottom, left to right, clockwise around the pad). I can try and get in and annotate the log file somehow if you want, but that will take a few more hours. Hope fully you can get the required data from the logfile and the list below.

    App Exit

    play
    eject

    Test 2 Results

Here are my results for your test 2.

I pressed them in the same order as before but then I pressed all the ones that used to not work. The bunch at the end is the mouse stick moving.

    Man your getting close!!!!!!!

Quick question On my LCD display I thought I used to have different icons for Home, TV, Etc. Did I? I clicked on the icon editor and I am not sure if I reset something or if I am just imagining things.
