Since this plugin seems destined to replace "External Display", I tried to get it to work on my Scaleo E.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find an entry in the drop-down list capable of writing to its display.
The display is theoretically a Futaba, but this setting doesn't work with "external Display" either, even though the Futaba driver is installed.
What works in "External Display" is the Scaleo EV from David K.
Which display option should I use in CybrMage?

    restarting a generic VFD

Hello there! I am using a generic VFD that simply displays the characters that are sent to it. All works fine as long as I do not switch the display off by removing the power. When I switch it on again the init string (x04 x11 x14) is forgotten of course and the data displayed is deranged, the cursor of the display runs over the two lines and the brightness is back to high. Does anyone know how to configure the plugin such that it initializes the display regularily? I have attached the datasheet of the display I am using. Thanks!

    1. checked - the external display plugin is disabled!

Delete it. It will not be included in new SVN and this will avoid confusion

    2. Without the SG_VFD.dll V3 the VDF does not work!

Install 7.40 build of iMON and leave "AutoDetect" instead of forcing V3 and VFD type.
This seems to work for me.

Because your display cannot be automatically detected. That's why there is an option to specify your display.

i had delay with the IMON 7.40 Driver,

after i installed IMON 7.20 it was OK.

    I work with settings:

Enshure running before driver start [disabled]

Force restart after driver start [disabled]

Force reload during driver start [disabled]

    restart Fronview on exit [enabled]

Force to use Keyboard Mode with Imon Pad [disabled]

    Hi alal,

    from you log:

2008-10-23 23:05:07.202433 [Info.][CybrDisplay]: (IDisplay) iMONLCDg.Setup(): Display Type is NOT SUPPORTED - Plugin disabled

You can try fixing it to LCD or LCD2. Good luck !
