I have WebMediaPortal working fine except the download button doesn't work. Movies will play fine but not download. TV shows do allow to download. Anyone know how to fix this?

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
