What version of MediaPortal are you using? In RC3 I can not reproduce this.

Okay, I reproduced the problem. Issue is here. I think I see the problem, so hopefully this will be an easy fix.

Tried to add a couple of movies tonight. The Movie Importer starts out al right, but then just freezes. I have attached the log file. Up till now the scanner worked perfectly.

Ouch, that is a bad bug. I was able to reproduce by turning on the "Search Movie Folder for Backdrops" advanced setting. Do you have this turned on?

Yes, I switched it on, because the scanner didn't pick up a backdrop for the movie Knocked Up, so I downloaded it myself.

Aha! That is why I also having problem with movie import. No movies are getting imported no more. And I also have this option.

Okay, well it was an easy fix, sorry that was overlooked in testing. If either of you are interested in testing a (potentially unstable!) test DLL to verify these fixes, send me a PM. Especially you Johan, I may have made progress on your issue with the two files not loading.

just curious....i have a great many movies with no run time. i seem to remember that this was already mentioned for a future release fix? or was it supposed to be corrected with 0.6?

Yes, we made a fix to the runtime retrieval in the IMDb script, but I think you are right, it did not fix it for all cases. This looks like just an issue with the IMDb script though. Try the attached script and see if that helps. To load it in, in the config on the importer click the data sources tab and then click the plus button. Once it has been loaded you should be able to refresh your movies in the Movie Manager to pull in runtimes for movies that are missing the data.

This updated script will of course also be included in the next release, for anyone curious.
