Tried out the new imdb.xml and it now finds all the runtimes. It also corrects the scores. For instance 63 becomes 6,3. Was wondering though if the plugin will do this automatically for all the files or will I have to do it manually?
Unfortunately, it doesn't save the scores correctly. After shutting down the plugin and restarting it's back to 63.

That is unrelated to the new IMDb script. That is a known bug in the plug-in itself. The change you are describing is due to the test DLL I gave you to test the previous issue we were talking about. The DLL also had a partial fix for the rating bug (although it was not 100% correct as you have described). The issue is corrected but wont be available until the next release.

Probably we will be dropping 0.6.1 with a handful of bug fixes within the next couple of days.

Hello, yes the problem is reproducable- It happens every time i have played a movie, and yes I am in list view.
I have to look in to how to post log files since I havent done that before, same with posting screenshot.

Dont have much time to do so at the moment, but will try to figure it out as soon as I can.

Thanks for your support, and quick replies.

Here comes a screenshot of my problem.

just curious....i have a great many movies with no run time. i seem to remember that this was already mentioned for a future release fix? or was it supposed to be corrected with 0.6?

Yes, we made a fix to the runtime retrieval in the IMDb script, but I think you are right, it did not fix it for all cases. This looks like just an issue with the IMDb script though. Try the attached script and see if that helps. To load it in, in the config on the importer click the data sources tab and then click the plus button. Once it has been loaded you should be able to refresh your movies in the Movie Manager to pull in runtimes for movies that are missing the data.

This updated script will of course also be included in the next release, for anyone curious. :p

thanks a lot, works fine now!

Having issues with plugin crashing (GUI freezes anyway). When I enter Moving Pictures, the movie "Hostel: Part II" is automatically selected even though I've just started MediaPortal (not the first movie in the database). And then I can't do anything else. I figured I'd leave MP like this for a couple of hours and see if anything changes, but the GUI is still unresponsive so I exit MP and save my logs.

I didn't delete my database from last version of Moving Pictures, since I have LOTS of customization made to my movie data and I really don't want to. When opening Moving Pictures in MP Configuration I get no errors or anything.

Let me know if you need more (different) logs. I guess I'll revert back to last version of Moving Pictures for now since this does not work for me. One more thing, you should leave a link for the former version on your Google site for us having problems in case those poor folks didn't backup their .dll.

    I have some issues

I can not get it to automatically set the "watch" flag.
I have only tested this with iso files (no avi).
One movie I played to the very end and it returned to the DVD menu.
The other was played to 95% then I stopped the movie.
The two movies does not have the watch flag set and I had to do this manually.

Noticeable the resume function works. If I stopp a iso movie some where, it asks me next time if I want to resume from that position.

Anyone else who has noticed any problems with the watched flag?

I also have some issue with the filmstrip view. Maybe a skin issue? Using the latest Aeon Wide skin for MP by Emphatic.
When I start up MP and go into Moving Pictures I get to the filmstrip view (set in config now). The very first movie is selected but the backdrop from the second movie is shown.

If move right to the next movie and back again the correct backdrop for the first movie is used.

If I have movie X selected and leave Moving Pictures (with ESC key) back to home menu, and then return to Moving Pictures the very first movie is selected but with the backdrop of the last selected movie X.

Please note that when I say selected/active I am NOT in the detail screen, only selected in the filmstrip view.

If you want the older version, it's still on google code:

I will check this as well tonight, going to watch a movie .iso based.
.avi does get the watched flag set.

Got another crash. This time movingpictures, mediaportal and error logs are attached. I see Direct X errors, but I don't know what they mean. Will run MediaPortal in English for now to see how much that improves on the situation.
