mine is called:
The.Chronicles.Of.Narnia-Prince.Caspian[2008]DvDrip<some well known distributor>.avi and is picked up nice and easy. Haven't done anything (very) special to change the settings.

So, is it the spaces in front of and after the "-" that counts as >3 characters in total? I have this issue for all of my "Saturday Night Live: The Best of" dvd-rips as well. I count that as 2 characters that's different (I use " - " after Saturday Night Live).

I dont know if it is a bug.. but everytime i start moving pictures it shows the movie that first got added to the db, but i want it to show the movie highest up in the list!

i think it did in previously versions.

I always get movie #7 in the list (Hostel: Part II) when I enter MovingPictures. Perhaps it was the first added. How do you know which one it is?

Moving Pictures 0.6.1 is now uploaded and available. This includes fixes for several pretty major bugs in 0.6.0. If you are currently using 0.6.0 I would strongly urge you to upgrade. Also from now on, if you have bugs to report please be sure you are using the latest release. Changes are listed here.

because i have several watched folders "divx" "hd" "dvd".. and in divx i only got 1 movie, and divx was the first folder i added!

First time user of Moving Pictures, installed 0.6 yesterday, but i have a small problem in any view the currently selected film is not highlighted

From various screenshots I have seen there should be a frame around the selected item and this isn't happening for me.

I am using RC 3 and Monochrome 2.3, any help appreciated

did you also install the media files? (media\MovingPictures\<a bunch of png files>)?
They are supposed to be in your skin path.
And if this does not help, can you post a screenshot of your situation?

Yes i did copy the media\movingpictures graphics and they are in the ..\skins\monocchrome\media\MovingPictures folder (is this correct?)

A screenshot i can do when i get home this evening

Hi All,

Thanks for the update!! The image matching is sensational, I have a rather eclectic movie selection and the amount of stuff found by the scanners is quite remarkable.

I haven't even loaded the plugin in MP yet as it is still scanning my library from scratch, but I have noticed that I still have one of the main problems from 0.55c and that is matching files with multiple 'discs'.

The files "Japan Sinks (2006)-CD1.avi" and "Japan Sinks (2006)-CD2.avi" were correctly grouped together and the list of movie titles to match against presented to me.

Other ones such as "Whisper (2007)-CD1.avi" and "Whisper (2007)-CD2.avi" were not correctly grouped together, and I now have two instances of the movie in the database. "Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007)-CD1.avi" and CD2 was the same, "Sisily 2km (2004)-CD1.avi" and CD2 as well, and many others. More often than not the pairs were not grouped properly.

Is there any way to forcefully combine two movies once in the media manager? I cannot work out how.

I don't use Monochrome, but it has "build in" support for MovingPictures.
As mentioned in the readme:

   Monochrome

Perhaps then you actually do not want to use the included images
