Ok cool, This works well if I know what I want to watch...
But I acnt see what I entered, nor can I go back to the all view...

You can "clear" the remote control filter by going "back" (ESC equivalent on your remote)
We are working on a nice visual indicator for the combination you have entered (there are several possible)

Also, what if I just want to go to the 'middle' of my collection?
Say I want to see my movies that start with M...
I cant do this now?

I will try improve the filter with the upcoming bugfix release to allow you to jump between movies "starting with a specific letter". You can't do this now.

My Problem is just that it keeps crashing and crashing... i guess i'll try to delete my database and see if anything changes..
the problem is just that i can't find it... can anybody tell me where the database is located?

It seems there is a minor problem!

I'm Running RC3, and now upgraded to Moving Pictures 0.6.0
When watching a Movie, there is no available menu in the top and bottom (Ex. Movie info, start, stop etc) ?

I think this is a MediaPortal issue as I also experience this in eg TV-Series.

Okay any idea how to fix this... I have tried out MyFilms also... Same Problem. So it have to be Mediaportal issue...

For vista:
C:\ProgramData\somewhere in here

I'm at work right now so from what I remember:

C:\Documents and settings\All users\Application Data\Mediaportal\Databases\movingpictures.db3

This is on Xp, But I guess Vista would be something much like it.

Vista: C:\ProgramData\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\Databases\movingpictures.db3
The extra Team MediaPortal folder is on XP as well!

allways nice to see a new version! one problem, the "locale rating" problem is still there, the rating is parsed as "73" insted of "7.3".

I use swedish regional settings!

thx got it... now it's not crashing any more and i'm rescanning

another question... i have my folderstructure like that

Movies
|-Movie1
||+folder.jpg
||+Movie1.avi
|-Movie2
||+folder.jpg
||+Movie2.avi

so every folder has a folder.jpg.
I set the max covers per movie to 1 and the order would be that local files are prefered... so normaly no cover needs to be downloaded cause i have all of them in the folders...
BUT... it's downloading covers and it's not taking mine... any suggestions?
