I am using a Mascom Alphacrypt TC or a Alphacrypt Classic with a legal card.. The server is quite new. I never had any problem with the old server (same CAM).
I have the same issues on non-scrambled HD channel (das Erste HD or einsfestival HD while watching and recording).
Maybe there are more than one cause of the issue.
At the moment i let the Client run tuned on a sky channel + EPG Grabbing: everthing is fine.
Graphic-Card Temperature 82 Degrees Celsius!

Just checked, some issuesas before.
When I press stop and restart the channel, everthing is fine.

@Owlsroost Thank you very much! I'd love to test it rightaway - unfortunately I am work-related out of town for one week.
So I won't be able to reply until the middle of next week.
Just for my understanding: How can I see if the tsreader is doing what it's supposed to? (meaning this special version with its
ability to adjust) Is it the green line (render time) which would then change? I've seen that it did change in one scene...

    Again thanks for your effort.

For me, it's mostly looking at the TsReader log to check for 'pauses' and what the playback speed adjustment is doing. Ideally there should not be any short pauses.

@Owlsroost: So here is the first set of logs with the new tsreader.
Everything fine so far the only reason I don't freak out about this is that I don't want to get too disappointed if the problem reoccurs. ;)

    OK - good :)

I've got another version 'in progress' - I'll post it when I'm happy with it, but please carry on testing with the current version - the logs are useful to me.

Allright so here's the next one. Started watching tv around 20:13. Picture was good but with desync.

Edit: Well.... After creating this log I kept watching the same channel and couldn't reproduce the desync.
However I saw that Windows was updating around the time of the first log. So maybe this was the reason for the desync.

Again a pretty good test. I think that desync wasn't an issue this time (hard to say if it hasn't fully developed yet)
and dropouts were really seldom as well.

    Another sample...
TV beginning at 13:15 was pretty good - only a few (hard to recognize) stops in video to catch the audio stream as I assume.

I'm getting this too since changing to an i5 setup, so I'm going to test your tsreader if that is ok Owlsroost. I dont have a CAM, just using Freesat, but it is only TV where I get the glitches. There are no discontinuities at the TV server (in the garage) and I am using UNC. If this looks to be a different thing I will make a different thread.

If you've got these problems with an i5 (and if your problems have the same root as mine) it's unlikely that missing power
is the reason for this. Because I thought it is.

You have a few continuity errors in the TsReader log, but no 'catch up' pauses, so the 'video stops' may be due to continuity errors.
