    I put some debug to DVB-T/MindigTV: lang=hun, encoding=0x10, 0x02 (ISO-8859-2)

If the 1.6-pre will be released, I will ask for @gurabli to make a log with my dll.

next version to test. Differences to prev. version:
if no encoding bytes are specified - then check for all symbols in string to be allowed in ISO6937. if yes- proceed with ISO6937 decoding (proper encoding, UPCDirect). if no - check for language "hun", and if found - use 8859-2 (case for DigiTV). if other language - take the default ANSI codepage of TVService account.

so i need you to erase all EPG and get DVB EPG for UPCDirect channel and for DigiTV channel (e.g. as you did in prev. test). then check if epg does look still OK for UPCDIrect, and any better for DigiTV.

Sounds promising:) I will try to check this asap, but I can not promise this time a fast response, as we are expecting guests afternoon, but I will try to squeeze some time as I would very much like to see if this solves the situation. I will also check for the Serbian channels and see if they are working or not. If not, I will provide you with logs too.
Once again, thanks for the great support![DOUBLEPOST=1383894651][/DOUBLEPOST]

I will be happy to make a log, but I do not think I will upgrade to 1.6-pre, perhaps only to the final version. At the moment, with 1.5.0 final I have a perfectly working system, everything is working the way it should, super fast and no annoying bugs. I'll make the upgrade to the new version only in the case there are some really major upgrades that I need or bugfixes that are necessary. If something is really working the way you want, don't touch it:)

The only bug that I face now (and it is something I can live with, especially after UPC Direct is working now thanks to Vasilich's excellent support) is the wrong encoding for different providers, resulting in hardly readable EPG. But I think we are on a right track to solve this:)

for those I'd like to have TSWriter_EPG.log to see what encoding they use and what encoding flags they set (just for statistics, even if encoding is corrrect :) ).

Sure, I will provide you with logs for these channels as well!

I have tried the new files, DigiTV is still wrong:(
    UPC Direct is still correct.
Checked HelloHD (another Hungarian provider), all the EPG data are correct.
Checked Serbian channels (Polaris TV), wrong.

Reverted back to original MP 1.5 files:
    UPC Direct is wrong
    DigiTV is correct
    Serbian channels correct.

So, using original files, all the EPG information are correct, except UPC Direct. Using the patched files, only UPC Direct is correct, all the other are wrong.

Perhaps try to add some settings that would change only the encoding for UPC Direct and leave all the other as default?

UPC Direct is the only provider for Hungary that follow DVB specs?

I do not know, really. There basically 4 Hungarian satellite providers: UPC Direct, DigiTV, HelloHD and T-Home Sat. What DVB specs they follow, I can not tell you. I can provide you the logs and you can check. I do not have access to T-Home, but I do have a UPC Direct and DigiTV card, and I can check HelloHD with my friends help.
