Hi,

I've installed the latest TV server build today. When I've tried to use my DVB-S2 Nova it was shown as DVB-T card in the setting. I know that I have to go this way in MCE but I thought that it will be shown as DVB-S card here. Am I wrong?

An second query: I've seen now a lot of comments concerning changed ini files to find the HD channels. Crazy one: how can I do this.

TIA, Steffen

i think since the hauppauge cards are supported in tv3, you don´t have to change the ini files, there´s an option in the tv settings(channel scan screen) to use the dvb s2 features of hauppauge cards automatically.

MP1 MP2 Card recommendation DE
I have a TBS 6284 PCIE card, which is an older quad-tuner DVB-T/T2 card. The tuners are significantly more sensitive than my Pinnacle 2000i DVB-T dual tuner card (and hence less likely to exhibit pixelation), but noticeably less sensitive than the tuner in my Sony TV. The Pinnacle card has been "rock solid" -- no problems at all. But...

Hi, First off: there are some issues with the latest Mediaportal (32bits vs 64bits), so that is one of the issues you're stumbling with. If you take the previous version (1.31) it should work as expected. For IPTV there is also a different option (with different pros and cons): Onlinevideos. I'm using that sometimes for my IPTV as...

I've setup my HDHomeRun in MP1 as (4) IPTV cards rather than Atsc. I can see the (4) Atsc cards, but just have them disabled. I did it this way so I didn't have to edit the channel names every time tested a new TV-server install. Anyway, it works. I don't know if this would get you past the BDA driver issue. I'll provide more...
