DVB-t Channel Names Not Picked Up (1 Viewer)

I have the same problem too but with DVB-S and astra 28deg. east (Sky UK). I only have channel names for about a quarter of all the channels found. The rest have just a 4 digit hex number and no provider name (most display BskyB). There are far too many channels for me to manually alter.

i'm getting crazy about this... i want to do something about it, but i don't know how =(( one way is to compile the tve3 with an old ts-writer-file, witch i've got... but how do i recompile an svn???

This has only been happening for a few weeks and didn't use to be a problem. Hopefully one of the developers is on to it? As regards the epg there are a couple of posts recently about changing a couple of the settings in TVE3 config program to massively improve epg grabbing. From memory I think it is the epg timeout which according to others should be 12. If I'm wrong just find the other posts!

15 is a good seting for timeout.

As for the scan problem; the code change has been pinpointed and the dev who posted the code has been prompted to this but the request has all but been ignored, sad to say.

Still doesnt work for me, tried sevral releases but non works good enough. Yesterday revision got epg after about 13 hours or so

SVN 14521 still has the same problem, this bug is now weeks old and affects a lot of european transponders.

I Have the same problems with channel names and got the code working just now, posted a patch for it. Hopefully it will get picked up soon so that you all can use it.
