    In case you were all wondering why I haven't posted a test binary yet, one of the HEVC test files I have won't play because of an audio problem (it does play OK using LAV Splitter), so I'm investigating that problem at the moment...

    Worked around the problem, so attached is the very first test binary for TsReader.ax with HEVC support - use with care !

    Note this won't allow you to play/tune/record live TV (that needs modifications to TV Server), but should allow you to play existing (DVB spec compliant) HEVC test recordings etc.

    Working :)

    Note that i didn't run into an issue before except yesterday a crash in lentoid decoder but i think because my HTPC can't handle the cpu usage from the stream lol.

    Strange it's LAV Video in use while HEVC is not checked
    it is only hardware decoding unchecked, so LAV uses software decoding.

    You are right :)
    I have added the HEVC selection available for TV Codec, now it switch to Lentoid but still CPU usage is high :)
    If you deselect HEVC from the 'Formats' tab in LAV video option then you will achieve automatic Lentoid use without needing to configure, handy until Sebs configuration makes it into standard builds.

    Yes, that has been possible for years, provided you have a DVB-T2 capable tuner card/USB stick.

    A DVB-T (only) tuner cannot tune DVB-T2 signals, but a DVB-T2 tuner can tune both types of signal.

    Note:
    H.264 = AVC,
    H.265 = HEVC
